My father was in Slovakia when the Nazis came through. They put him on the Russian front to fight. Then, after getting hit with a grenade and having his muscles peeled from his bones to remove the shrapnel, the Russians came through and were taking all of the boys to labor camps to work until they die. His parents managed to sneak him out of Europe, get him on a boat, and send him here, with next to no money in his pocket and unable to speak English. So, when I hear someone here bitch about how tough they have it because their car payment is so expensive, I just have to laugh. We have no idea what horrors some people go through in life.
When in 1944 the soldiers of the Polish Underground carried out a successful attack on Franz Kutschera (SS and Police Commander for the Warsaw District), STEN machines were also jamed.
They removed the stocck with the handle and basically held the sten by the magazine pulling trigger with no grip at all. It would be miracle if the gun didnt jam.
This movie seems a lot more like Heydrich, than in Operation Daybreak, where they choose a short guy to play Heydrich, Id like to find a copy with subtitles
They cant find any assassin more competent than an idiot who keeps his gun in the same bag as rabbit food? The gun jammed because it was clogged with rabbit chow

@@olabaskerville They should rather make movie about the "three kings" one of them Václav Morávek aka Leon was known to carry two semiautomatic pistols with 10 magazines crediting almost 10-30 gestapo and SS way before John woo came up with that idea. You could see him briefly in HhHH but I think he should deserve his own movie. One time he made a bet with his coleagues that He will light his cigarete from the Main gestapo officer tasked to hunt them down. He did that and week later send the cigarete butt to the gestapo with letter thanking him that he is richer of 1000 crowns from the bet. They did other stuff like regulerly printing monthly resistance magazine always delivering one printed copy at the gestapo HQ without getting caught. That sound more like hollywood writing except its true and to me far more interesting than Anthropid story.

@@17MrLeon the guy with the machine gun should have had a pistol as an immediate backup in his pocket. he looked like he was scrambling to get it out. same for the guy throwing the anti-tank mine. the planning was poor but then, the amount of stress conducting this operation must have been through the roof. the other thing they should have done after the attack was smuggle themselves out of the country asap.
