- We all were waiting for the new Toyota Supra to show up. However, after they have launched it many people were disappointed by the fact that it has a BMW Z4 engine.
Was that a wrong thing or it is normal but we had a higher expectation.

My issues with the car are:
Toyota made the public wait over 20 years for a new Supra and this is what they came up with. 🤦🏽♂️
The head of Toyota said if they couldn't team up with BMW for the Supra, that Toyota would build the car themselves in a year. They should have just done that.
Toyota pulled a weak move with the car. You don't team up with another company to make Supra for you. And so you can stick your badges on the car.
In the meantime Toyota built the LFA, A Supercar. For what reason.
The car has no manual transmission option.
Meanwhile Nissan is redoing it's Z car again. To a 400Z. And it will be built by Nissan. 👍🏽
First of all thanks a lot for your comment and for sharing your opinion. I completely agree with you, all of us the supra and Japanese car fans were really disappointed with the fact that after so many years the new supra is nothing but a BMW Z4 with Toyota logo and it was a bit of a bad decision Toyota has made. However, firstly they are gonna deal with it after other competitors as you said the Z400 will launch their car, secondly, to be honest, we as well gonna deal with it too, at the end of the day the engine and the performance of the car are not bad at all. Yes, it would have been better if it is pure Toyota but still a good looking car with overall good performance.
