Glad you had a good night , the more free parking you do it gets better , we stayed further down on a little rough camp but was ok for a couple of nights pub further down does good tapas , we felt the same first time we did it earlier on this year , picking our new van up Thursday and can’t wait to get back on road

When you left you will have probably seen that there are three motorhome stopovers lower down the road. I used to have a house not too far from that lay by but in Nerja. Feeling a bit home sick.
We did see all the other lay by's and it's a lovely place, hope it gave you nice memories. Happy travels 😊
It would be a useful feature to know what the running costs are for a van similar in size to yours. Is that something you could cover?

Hi, we have the Garmin Avtex Tourer Two which we find great however we do have Google maps as a backup and to look up where we want to travels next etc. Happy travels 😊

Are you aware that Spain legally does Not allow wild camping, you risk getting a hefty fine, you need to check what is and is not permitted as each country is different with regards to wild camping.
The police drove past and all was fine. No sign to say otherwise. There is a difference between camping and parking while sleeping overnight, as long as it's not obvious and all wheels are on the ground/no gear out etc. There where other vans there too, it was a lovely stop. Happy travels 😊
