Hi, great vlog again. Just wanted to let you know, referring to a previous video of yours. Our maiden voyage in our kontiki yesterday and we lost the water valve on a speed bump! Unbelievable, or it would have been if not for your video. Managed to get some washers and screws on the site ( Black Knole, new forest). I am now wondering if I take it off to exit the site for our trip to Taunton this afternoon. Having air suspension and levelling fitted in august and hoping this will allow me to lift the van in the future for speed bumps, etc. Hey ho, otherwise the van is perfect, but thanks again for the videos.

We love cheddar , I used to stay on that campsite as a kid , back then the 2 campsites were one site called church farm. We’ve since stayed on the cc site . Great vlog guys we enjoyed it x

Great vlog guys, we went there at the end of April, did a park up in the carpark at the bottom you were stood by and another park up in the coach parking area around the bend just past the main cave, nice little place Cheddar. Those helmets looked good more comfy and meaty than the standard cycle helmets we have. xx

I bought the cadac soft soak bowl last year - brilliant for the griddle - I dont even soak overnight - just fill full of hot soapy water and then as soon as you have finished cooking, bob it in. Leave 20mins and cleans easy. I also use the plastic mats on there - they are great too - about £10 for 3 but can use and re use. The tapas pans are brilliant for eggs, beans, omelettes, garlic mushrooms, prawns pil pil and even individual bread and butter puddings or yorkshire puddings if you are doing a Sunday beef joint on there with the lid over! Enjoy! 😊

Great to see my old home town on video although it makes me a bit homesick, I'm long overdue for a visit. Regarding the lifeboat station, it used to be on the pier where the aquarium is now. It took precious minutes for a tractor to tow the boat out and along the quay to the beach and haul it to the sea edge. Back in my younger years the pier was a complete pier where my Granddad would take me fishing. Nice little video and hope you enjoyed Ilfracombe and the amazing scenery.

We used to have a little apartment in torrevieja 1st 5 yrs was good then these Africans come over a started robbing everyone braking into apartments stealing boats motorman’s caravan the lot at knife point we sold it and got out at a good time 6 months later the prices of apartments dropped 30% everyone just wanted out

Get something like a Wise, Revolut, N21 card or the like. Load it up with a small amount to start with, then incrimentally top-up when the balance goes down if needed. At the absolute wost, a thief can never take anything more out than what little amount was loaded. At best, if you have local internet access, then you can enter the app & enable/disable transactions types in-between every use. Basically ioad it with 100/200 or whatever amount you want to start with. Use the card to make a payment in the establishment. Then immediately enter the app & disable transactions. Leave transactions off until the next time you plan to make another payment for something. Then when at the card reader, you go into the app re-enable the payment & make the transaction. Once it's done, go back into the app & turn transactions back off. Not only can they not make any 'extra' charges on the card, but if it goes missing, the card is useless because you have turned off all the transaction types (online, atm, chip & pin, contactless, etc.) Much easier to use a travel card when abroad, than risking your bank account or a huge bill being racked up on a credit card. You then have to deal with the stress & strain of dealing with the bank after the fact to get it sorted. Further to that, do not let an employee ever take a card out of your sight or even your hand for that matter. Either tell them to bring the machine to your table, or you go up to the register with them & use the card.

So sorry this happened. Terrible! But you both did the right thing. It wasn't your fault at all.

I hope swift will hopefully change this design seem to remember Roaming Radfords having issues with there Swift kon Tiki as well.
