The First Responders Rec Center is in the North. It has LOTS of video games and indoor activities to play. One of the many villages CZcamsrs just did a short on this Rec Center, her name is GracejoyTV. This Rec Center also has an 18 hole putting course outside….kids of all ages love it!

Boozy Bingo is a blast especially with a group of couples. Sawgrass is great place to socialize on a nice sunny afternoon. We'll go and get a drink sit outside and visit with everyone.

Love the wrap-ups! I would like the recreation center that has games (shuffleboard, bingo) that you mentioned in the last wrap-up. I did giggle when you filmed the gator - I was waiting for your comment after saying - "They have gators in there? Where are they?" I wouldn't mind a long trip in the cart if it were cooler. I just can't deal with heat. My fave thing about remote work is no more of that constant traffic to/from work, stores, etc. I was always so stressed out. I would be fine in the cart!

It's been interesting watching the videos of your visit to the Villages. I'd heard of the place, but had no idea it was so extensive. I'm wondering if all the stores are occupied or are there many empty stores.
The spaces are occupied. There are a few in transition, but they won’t be for long.
Glad for you guys that you grew to enjoy the golf cart after feeling mixed about it at the start. It would have driven me crazy knowing I could be somewhere in half the time if I was in a car instead.

What was so interesting to me was most of the houses didn’t have a coat closet lol but I guess they don’t really need a coat closet in Florida
We never thought about that because we don't have a coat closet in our house. Our current house only has two closets.
No we don’t need a coat closet here in Florida 😅
Only my dad needed a coat in FL (heheheh) - I remember not even being able to stand wearing a jacket for rain. Too humid! But a coat closet is multi-purpose, really, so I would want one. It could be for shoes, vacuum, umbrella, etc. :-)
You really don't need a coat closet in Florida. I just hang a simple over the door coat rack on the laundry room door (laundry room side) and that's where we hang our jackets.
@@goofygirl1311 To each his/her own - but I think you always need at least a little closet toward the front or front area. But we all have our own needs. I don't like a coat just hanging around, especially if you have a few - some people don't have a laundry room door or even a laundry room. In Miami, our laundry was in the garage. In Cape Coral, we had a pocket door. It was too small to hang stuff. If you came in the front door on the other side, you'd have to walk clear across the house.

Omg... Not Johnny Rockets... 🤣 My family and I resent Johnny Rockets.
We went to the one in Queensbury near Six Flags when I was very young. The servers were rude, inattentive, and there were horse flies EVERYWHERE. They were landing on our food (which was bland and nasty), and one drowned in my milkshake. We never stepped foot into a Johnny Rockets again, and if we passed one we went "ewww"
I was so pleased to learn that they closed and will be demolishing the Queensbury location 😂😂😂
I would prefer Six Flags Great Adventure (back in the day) than Great Escape in NY. hehe I know, off-tangent.

@@BeatlesandWebkinz LOL It's funny - I cannot even tell you because of my memory. I will say that when I used to go to GA a lot (my sister worked there when she was around 16), I used to get to pet Bella the Sea Lion and feed her fishies, I would ride the swings, and I would get foot long hot dogs. At Halloween time, the Haunted House was out of this world. That is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO long ago, I mean, really a long time ago. It was not far from where we lived when we moved from NYC to NJ when I was little. They had crazy roller coasters that I was afraid to go on, and I loved their log flume, even though it scared the heck out of me! I thought the one in St. Louis was not bad, and the NY one was not bad, but I guess I was always partial to GA in Jackson, NJ. Oh well.

Thank you both for taking us on your trip with you! I've noticed that it doesn't look like there are a lot of people at the places y'all go to, either walking around outside during the day, or the restaurants. Other than the dancing/music scenes, it seems like y'all are pretty alone and not smothered by others. Is that because y'all went during "off season" or the time of the day when you are out and about? In any event, it looks so nice there!
We got out early to walk around when it was cool outside. I also tried to not show anyone as much as possible. I showed the dancing because those people know they are live on CZcams. I just know that I wouldn’t appreciate being filmed while I trying to enjoy my morning coffee 😉

I live about 20 minutes from The villages of course I love watching all your videos, my favorite place there is the flying biscuit Cafe amazing grits amazing biscuits I hope you got to experience the place I hope I haven't seen it as of yet

I wish you could have gotten pics of the inside of the chocolate shop. It looked so amazing a couple days ago. But at least you were able to sample some of their goodies. I've got to say though that if I do move down to that area $2.60 for one piece of chocolate would definitely add up so that would just be a once in awhile splurge for me lol.

I am amazed at the number of shops with sweet goodies. I would definitely have a ball hitting up all the candy, bakeries, and ice cream shops!
Just curious, have you guys found any sodas that are regional to that area that you can't get in Kentucky or other parts of the country? I noticed you saw some ale-8 down there which surprises me! I never was able to find the ale-8 Roxa cola 😕
No, we didn’t see any regional drinks.

Always trust your first instinct - that Johnny Rockets is notorious for bad service and other issues.
Have you looked at Homes what do you think of them and which ones did you look at?
Yes! We did look at new homes- no preowned though. We will talk about them in our final wrap-up video 😃

They do, but there is a waiting list to get in unfortunately.

I think it’s good to get out early too, even when things aren’t open. You can see things without all the crowds.

My parents have their golf cart because they used to love at the beach. It was so perfect to get around. They can’t use it now where they live but do use it to take the trash to the top of their long driveway.
I don’t like to set my silverware on the table either.
