Graham Crossford is a mysterious character whose story is tied to several of the protagonists of Octopath Traveler. His personality, bloodline, and involvement in the events at The Gate of Finis paint an intriguing tale, full of tragedy and strife. This video will attempt to chronicle Graham's journey, as well as offer a unique theory about how Graham's character is integral to the main narrative and core themes of Octopath Traveler.

Dang, I never thought of a lot of this stuff. Crossford is a pretty major character that remains very much in the shadows for like 99% of the game, so it’s crazy how you got this amount of time out of what we saw!

While I can see most of the points you make in the video, I personally disagree with your statements. I feel your assumptions towards Graham comes from a kinda bias perspective that leads to a conclusion that doesn't make a lot of sense in the grand scheme of things. Especially when you compared him with the rest of the travellers and the overall journey the game offers.
I especially disagree on your theory of minute 38:14..... that's a HOT TAKE if I ever saw one..... at least for what I get from what you said....
I do agree with other points you make though. 100% respect for your conclusions from minute 46:30 onward.
Regardless on my statement, overall the quality of the editing and the great explanation makes me appraciate your video essay a lot. Great video regarding one of the most overlooked characters in Octopath. Keep up the great work! :))))))

I mean, I've never seen such a thorough character analysis? Maybe I can think of another one on Aang the Avatar but this one comes extremely close.
