Let's be honest, Robert Picardo was the best thing about Voyager.

Picardo is actually a classically-trained singer. He's showcased himself on several shows, Voyager included, and when he appears at conventions he's usually good about requests to belt out a few bars or two. If he wasn't an actor he could easily live his life on Broadway and never worry about paychecks or fame again.

The bloopers for this scene must have been hilarious.

I was think wow the doctor can really hold that high note then I realised hes a hologram without any lungs so he could probably hold that note indefinitely.

i have always loved the way the doctor drops things. he does it a few times in the series. just holds it really purposefully in the air and drops it. anyone else would toss it aside, chuck it on a table or put it down purposefully on the table. but not him. nope. this belongs on the floor. its like careful carelessness. i dont know why it appeals to me so much.

Star Trek will always remain unique over the generations. There will never be a TV series that employs people of such versatile skills in the arts from Broadway to theatre and even opera. The talent and match of personalities is truly amazing. Robert Picardo was an excellent doctor that personified humanity to the fullest.

When I first started watching voyager it was getting a little boring until I saw Robert Picardo's Doctor character, and he took me through the entire series, best character ever.
