This group of stamps was found as a concentration when I was sorting a large box of #Kiloware. Normally I find heavy duplication of some of the very common and inexpensive definitive so when I discovered these I was very excited but I never would have guess how much some of them would be worth. Many of these stamps are in mint condition and absolutely pristine. Not bad for a bulk box of #Philatelic material.

That temple stamp at 6:36 is beautiful. There are several denominations and they are from 1957. If I start a Japan collection, I'll aim for early used and MNH lots. I'll use a stock book to store them.

I an thinking about collecting Japan scenery stamps in addition to Ceylon, Gilbert & Ellice and coffee themed stamp. I feel a stock book would be my way to store them.

Thanks! I believe you're correct! it is indeed a Peony and not a Rose as I had guessed.

I just became your 700th subscriber. :) I like that you share the catalogue number and values of these stamps. Noticed that you don't do it for the later videos. Is it due to too much effort needed? On the other hand, I noticed that Japanese Stamp Ep 2 does not allow for comments. Is it a setting error?

Thanks for subscribing! It's always fun to hit a milestone like 700! as for values and catalog numbers it would be a ton effort to do it for all stamps in all videos. It an be hard to please everyone and I had at one point received some feedback suggesting not to add those details. I now only add them when I think its important. often for high value stamps or if I were to do a more detailed video on one or maybe a small number of stamps. My last few videos have over 100 stamps and are already taking me 8-10 hours to make. Japanese stamps Ep2 doesn't allow comments because of CZcamss rules around topics which may be interesting to children. Thanks for watching and for the questions!

Have you tried selling your stamps on eBay? I don't think many people buy stamps from comments in CZcams videos.
