Hey, i would like a comparison between the tab s8 ultra and the book3 pro 360 like you did last year i think. What i ask myself is that many youtubers ( i think you too) says that the pro 360 is good fo creative tasks like photoshop, photoediting generally, drawing etc. But can the tab s8 ultra do the same stuff or is there a high difference because of android vs windows so there are not the same apps on the tab s8 ultra which normally most of the people would use on windows like photoshop? But i think a general comparison would be also great! Thanks

    A couple of points/queries:
    1. I run AutoCAD LT (2023) on my I7 GBP2 Pro just fine, as well as an older version of Rhino (which is a surface modelling program) just fine. I've got 16GB of RAM, which helps and I did upgrade to Windows11 Pro.
    2. And now my query - choppy/unusable Bluetooth audio
I listen through headphones most of the time while I work, generally I use a set of Bose QC35II over ear noise cancelling cans which are great, and work great with every other piece of hardware (whether samsung or not) apart from my GBP2 Pro. I also use the Buds2 Pro and have tried a couple of other sets of headphones, and I get the same issues, though of varying degrees of severity.
Sometimes they connect fine, sometimes they connect but no sound comes out or it is choppy. Restarting the bluetooth (or running the troubleshooter) generally corrects it, but not always.
Even when connected fine, after a time (can be as little as 25-20mins with the Bose cans) the audio starts getting choppy, sometimes slowly and it takes a while to hear when listening to music, sometimes quickly...
I have checked the driver (up to date) and also removed/re-installed bluetooth on the laptop.
Any ideas before I try taking it back to Samsung, where I know that trying to fix an intermittent issues is always a pain!

Hi Matt, thanks for another visit and for feedback on using CAD, glad it's working well on the book2 pro 360.
I have similar issues with my sennheiser momentum 3's on all Windows PC's, not just my galaxy books. But I haven't had any issues specific to the book2 itself, they cutout whenever I connect them to a windows 10 or 11 PC. They used to work fine on Windows 8 when I first got them.
If all of your earbuds are acting this way with the book2, I'd probably start a return. But if it's just the Bose, mabye it's because it's using an old Bluetooth version that the newer book2 is struggling with. Let me know, happy to help you dig in further.

Thanks for the response, good to know that others headpphones have issues, but I haven't previously had issues on anything else, windows laptop or any other device... I will find some time to do some testing and if it happening with other headphones then I'll do a full re-install of windows 11, unless you think this isn't worth it? As the issue takes a while to happen it makes me think its a software rather than hardware issue - though one aspect I have noticed is when I use the quick settings from the task bar (the windows one, with the Wifi, Bluetooth options) and do changes via that (turn BT on/off, select different connected devices etc) it is often buggy or very slow - I turn off bluetooth but the little button doesn't reflect the change for either a long time (10secs+) or never does... Does this happen to you?

I personally use Spotify, and here's how it works with it, and I would assume other music apps are similar. I install Spotify on all of my galaxy devices, then make sure each device is listed under Connected Devices. So hop on your tablet and check there, and then also on your phone. Then you should see a local streaming icon in Spotify while playing music, and also quick access via the notification panel. My concern though is that your tab s6 may be on an older version of One UI, so you may notice it not "talking", so to speak, to your phone if the versions are quite a bit different.

I know what you mean, the pop-up menu is much slower to load on the galaxy book than on the S23 line and even the tablets. I don't know the reason really, but's always been slower, every year so far. I think it has to do with the integration with Windows, it's just not as responsive. I don't think it's a processing power issue, per se, but more of an integration issue. It's a bit frustrating.

Hi, thanks for stopping by. My apologies for the slow reply, I've been away for a couple eye surgeries.
Multi-Control is for when you want use your galaxy book as the main device to control all of your other devices with it's mouse and keyboard. Flow is a a little different in that it's more designed for screen sharing via Smart View and for file transfers. Quick share is the easy way to send files back and forth without being connected via Flow. You can also use Nearby Share, this was added recently.
I know, there's way too many options. I'll try to get a video out there soon that simplifies all of this for everyone.

If you have a Samsung tv, can you do screens share for this laptop to TV or any TV other than Samsung brands? And what about Samsung watches and fitness apps like on phones and tablets? Can you check them via Bluetooth. That is there's an app on Windows store? And can you run android on Samsung Books as I am wondering if you have a Samsung account on an android Google tablet with Samsung? Is it possible to use an android app on the laptop?
On thing would be kinda useful on these laptops that in tablet mode they could become android tablets with options to switch to Windows 11 or a mix of both? Unless there is a hidden feature in development for Windows 12/ Android 12÷? Samsung or any android laptop, etc?

Thanks for stopping by. My apologies for the slow reply, been away for a couple eye surgeries.
That's a lot of questions, let me answer them inline, it'll be easier...
If you have a Samsung tv, can you do screens share for this laptop to TV or any TV other than Samsung brands? As long as your TV supports Miracast, you should be good, though I've never personally tried wirelessly. Wired connections are straight-forward.
And what about Samsung watches and fitness apps like on phones and tablets? Can you check them via Bluetooth. Not from the laptop, no. Only phones and tablets at this time that support the Galaxy Wearable app.
That is there's an app on Windows store? Nope, the Wearable app isn't on the Windows Store.
And can you run android on Samsung Books as I am wondering if you have a Samsung account on an android Google tablet with Samsung? Is it possible to use an android app on the laptop? It is using BlueStacks and few other methods, but it gets a little complicated. Native support is getting fleshed out now though.
On thing would be kinda useful on these laptops that in tablet mode they could become android tablets with options to switch to Windows 11 or a mix of both? Unless there is a hidden feature in development for Windows 12/ Android 12÷? Samsung or any android laptop, etc? That would actually be really awesome, I'd like that too! We're not there yet though, I think the different architectures are the big roadblock their trying to overcome.

Hi Juan, thanks for watching. I know what you mean, sending from a phone or tablet to the laptop can be tricky at times. I find that restarting the laptop will often times get it to show up on the other devices, but not always.
But there's another solution that works well for this that I didin't touch on in this video - Samsung Flow. With Flow, you can drag and drop from any of the devices, and also view the other devices screen. There's a video about Flow here on the channel, and I'll also demonstrate the drag/drop in an ucoming Q&A, most likely next week's.

Hi, thanks for watching. That's a really great question. I personally haven't tried this out yet, but I will shortly for you when I get off work. My gut is thinking that no this won't work, because once you tether via HotSpot, you're no longer considered connected to the same wifi network since you're hijacking the wifi network of the phone for the mobile hotspot connection. The only real downside is the lack of a full fledged browser, but the Chrome and Samsung Internet brower are getting close. And, you can customize the entire laptop to something totally different with Window Blinds or Curtains by Stardock. Last thing I want to feel like is that I'm on a Windows system. Yes, I'm afraid so. It's a terrible habit, I know. I keep telling myself I'm going to quit, but it hasn't happened yet. I wanted to redo that section of video, but I was already running terribly behind, so out came the blur tool. Thanks for watching, appreciate you.

Windows photos is the worst software I've ever used. The share options is limited to 2 irrelevant share options. A waste of space. At least with Gallary, you can created shared album and pick them up on all your devices. Samsung or not using links. I wasted a whole lot of time while working, trying to use Windows crapware Photos to share my work with other devices.

Windows Photos is indeed pretty limited. Thanks for stopping again, I appreciate you!
