"the police are going to arrest us" over an airsoft gun is the most British thing I've ever heard
In the US people get shot by police every year because of airsoft guns so not much of a stretch in a country without any gun culture
@@xKuukkelix Got any statistics to back up that claim? If they were as much of an issue, they'd be more tightly controlled.
@@xKuukkelix I don't think Garnt Joey or Connor would be the type to aim it around at police if they were confronted.
The only way to make it more British is if they get stabbed the next day.

Love how TT is blurring out an airsoft gun while American gun CZcamsrs are shooting .50 cal rounds through blocks of butter to see how far it can go through it.
I saw some articles saying that a lot of gun channels have gotten demonitized. Not sure if they do that with airsoft channels. Honestly it's probably better they played it safe, seems like it's pretty easy to get demonitized on youtube
Not a true firearm
Channel makes a big deal about it.
Next time they travel to America ina state where there are few limits on firearms, they should film themselves going through a safety briefing, and then firing multiple types of firearms safely. Their channel can afford the rental and ammo cost for firing machine guns for instance.
Or different. 50 cals exploding in their face
Those gun youtubers already know what they have to deal with by hosting their content on YT, and most cases they have their own businesses long since established so they don't need to bother with YT's monetization politics. Or they just like to post content for fun instead of a means to make money.

Nah. He's just reinforcing a lesser known meme of a monk holding a shotgun: "Even Buddha's Patience has limits"
As an American, gun enthusiast, and airsoft player, Its hilarious to see non Americans freaking out about a real steel airsoft Type 89. I can't tell if its a Tokyo Marui because its blurry but damn, Garnt not using that or even taking it out of the box is kinda making me sad. TM make some good shit

Imma be honest, them freaking out over an airsoft gun is the least American thing I've ever seen. Also airsoft is completely legal and well loved in Japan, there is no risk of taking it out of the box, just don't walk down the street with it. Also CZcams is fine with guns generally, there are multiple monetized gun channels on CZcams, and plenty more monetized airsoft channels.

And Chris obviously
On the LockpickingLawyer's channel, he does a lot of reviews of gun safes and trigger locks. And so many of them are ridiculously easy to bypass. A lot of people are legally required to own a gun safe or to secure their firearms, but do not want to. The lack of security is a feature and not a bug.

If anyone ever wondered why in Persona 5 the airsoft weapons used were treated as being so real that they could be used in the metaverse as the actual thing... airsoft in Japan really can get that realistic.
Airsoft everywhere can get very realistic, most airsoft guns are 1:1 replicas of real weapons only changing on the inside to fit the firing mechanisms for bbs, there's even a Russian company that repurposes real ak models as airsoft guns
Airsoft culture is mad wild. There's literally a video called "Can airsoft translate to modern weapons" and a Japanese airsoft enthusiast got used to live fire very, very quickly.
As a real gun owner, and as an airsoft gun owner... Welcome aboard boys. And yeah, airsoft guns can be very realistic on the high end. And apparently, Japan has a massive airsoft community. I've run into several random Japanese airsoft channels on CZcams and was always intrigued with why? Cause none of them speak English or very poor English. I tend to just enjoy the giggles of joy they get from firing their airsoft guns at a range. Brings a tear to my American eye...
The reason why (if i'm not mistaken) is because there is heavy and really strict regulations on guns in japan, i think that you can't ever find a civilian with one.
@@ProfessorLandjo This is true, iirc, a civilian can own a shotgun for home defense and it is heavily regulated with strict licensing as well; we're talking: can't take it out of the house, rationed ammo, and a whole list of other things. Again, could be wrong cause it's been a while since I looked up the law.
The airsoft community is huge in Japan since it's the country where the hobby originated. A lot of the big manufacturers are located in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan.
Bang Bang Bang
Dude it’s so clear that they have never been this close to what probably looks similar to a real gun but isn’t. Next time you come to the states stop by a range see the real thing. Also please film it I would be greatly entertained.
It would have been so much more funny if the gun wasn't inside the box and the guys open their eyes seeing Garnt smiling from one ear to another with the gun in his hands.
PS: I just remember when Garnt was speaking about the first Anituber who pushed him and how he ended up planing a school shooting. Makes the gun fit even better.

Also I think generally its hard to compare the mentality, coz the USA with all its history never really experienced a war like ours with 30millions+ dead within just Europe coz of world wars 1 and 2. Guns to you mean freedom coz they were mostly used to fight for it, guns for us mean oppresion as they were most of our history used to enslave and kill enemies. Most of Europen history is how you can get rid of your neighbors and take what is theirs, and most of gun evolution was motivated by starting a war. EU is a one big family of countries that all killed each other for centuries, kinda a real life GoT ..so you can either be always in a state of war or play super nice...after centuries of trying the first approrach we decided to also take a trial with the other...we shall see whether it lasts.
