- The F4 can't be lifted like a normal Japanese bike with a stand that has a pin into the lower triple clamp. The video will show you how to remove the front wheel with a normal rear stand that most people should have or can borrow.

Nice job...
thank you man.
Thank you Loved the video.I have a 910r. I wonder if the Bike could be supported a different way. Thanks again.
I'm sure ther's more than one way to skin a cat!
👏👏👏
would love to see a video of steps involved in removing the main oil pan to change a gasket. In particular how do you remove the radiator? Thanks
No longer own this bike, sadly.
Thanks John for the reply.
I have the rear stand but if i want to take the front weel out i probably need to lift the bike with another stand? right?
+canalfixe Yes.
I guess I should have specified in the video but you need a "Regular" rear stand. One that would work on a double sided swingarm. And you need to have the rear in a stand before lifting the front.
+John Boston ok :) thanks
+canalfixe You need just one stand at each end and you'll be fine. Make sure you lift the rear end first and then use a stand like shown in the video for the front.
Hello--worked great till I removed the front axel and the right fork leg compressed more than the left--tilting the bike and causing it to fall over. Should have strapped it down to the center jack
the forks should be even. They are already "loaded" under the bikes weight.
I'm sorry to hear your bike fell. I can't imagine how really.
my bad John--Your method was still the best I have seen. --I wasn't being careful and maybe the pitbull stand pins were a bit uneven. Funny that I even had a Unused pitbull in the shed. Thanks again--Only thing I damaged was a CRN Bar end mirror, An aftermarket shift nob, and my pride...
Hey, I'm really sorry. I never imagined that was even a possibility. Is your bike OK?
Good to hear it's mostly OK. Sorry, I accidentally replied to the first comment again.
It is also a Brutale, so perhaps it is slightly diffrent in preload on the forks
Well this is embarrassing--turns out when I adjusted the pitbull stand spacing--I didn't get the lock down bolt all that tight--the little bit of flex probably caused my mishap--Again--thanks for the great tip--I am just a bit of an idiot
l have 2013 f4 a mechanical sound comes when l relase the clutch, after a few miles, it says on dash board "malfunction, check clutch switch" what can l do ?
+Engin Ozgrglu 2013 is still under warranty? I'd let the dealer handle it.
Short of that, how mechanical are you? You can check the switch at the lever, also check the wiring. If you're up to it, you can disconnect all of the electrical connectors and fill them with Di-electric grease. This will prevent corrosion and help ensure a good connection.
If all else fails, you can just bypass the clutch switch altogether. The only downside to that is the bike will start without the clutch pulled in.
Mine is still intact but on most of my bikes I bypass the clutch and the sidestand switches. If I want to start the motor with it in gear and the sidestand down....let me!
Hi, how do u lift the bike?
Do u know how to do the rear weel?
+canalfixe The rear uses a special stand with a pin that goes through the axle to lift the wheel.
There's only one clip and one nut to remove the rear wheel. The nut on the rear is "Reverse thread". Make sure to turn the correct direction.
Next time I'm doing it I'll make a video from that too. Thanks for the Idea!
