Purple lost royalty custom Boi: allow me to introduce myself
*Forgotten memory knows my location*
Isn’t it crown royal?
Blurryerface I don’t think so. I thought it said just royalty for like a year but pretty sure he said it in one of the videos and it’s lost royalty
You can get an adapter for that shifter from raceseng the 2014+ transmissions all come like that
Orrrrrrrr you could buy a short shifter and it has a threaded one
Do the raceseng. Quality stuff 👌
Anyone else just smile when they say Emerson? Miss that boy
Notification gang. Just manual swapped my Hawkeye. So much more fun🤟🔥
Yourself? or did you take it in somewhere?
tonykuz myself. Not too difficult overall
Well with just basic garage i think nothing is difficult.. ppl just needs to try
did you do it with only a jack and jackstands? normal hand tools and such? any cutting or anything involved? ive been thinking of manual swapping my legacy but im almost positive i dont have all the right tools for it.
Tyler Grayford yeah just had it on jack stands. Personally I didn’t have to cut anything but you may need a torch or grinder to get some rusted bolts off. Otherwise it’s a direct swap everything bolts up and mounts unlike robbies swap. Wiring isn’t difficult if you find the correct pinouts. Just need some basic 12 gauge wire and crimps
Karen : George!
George : what??
Karen: this car has three pedals, and i only have two legs!!! 😭
🥁
Seledynowy126 yooo I actually laughed 😂😂
Lol you got me
I still think the regional difference in transmissions is fascinating. I'm living in Europe hand have never in my entire life sat in an automatic let alone driven one.
Sounds like some kap

next thing : make a custom dash i would love to see that.

Swapping is so much fun! Good for you man, fearlessness and risk taking gets you everywhere
these videos keep improving. by far the best you’ve put out. stay committed!
I’m really glad you are swapping the transmission specifically on the genesis. My friends sorta belittle me for driving an automatic. So watching this definitely gives me insight. Keep it up ‼️‼️
Love the enthusiasm and energy you bring to your videos! Keep it up!!
This was epic, been looking forward to it all day!
Wow, I only started watching you since your karma build but you are very knowledgeable and confident, even your last video impressed me. You really know how to do custom work and the amount of different things you can do is fascinating. Keep up the great videos! - Another BC Guy
Italians make the best cooks and the best mechanics, you go Robbie!
I recommend getting a Coolerworx shifter for it. Love mine on the Genesis. Literally the shortest and snappiest shifter out there
Hey Robbie love the videos man! All th way from the UK! keep up the great work stay committed!
I was waiting for that video for so longgg
I have a 95' ford ranger with the 5 speed and I'm so glad I got it in manual, so much fun!!
I love this, all the boys working on their cars
@robbie I'm sorry I havent watched you in awhile but I love this video XD love that you show the good, the bad,and the funny
Been waiting for this one for a while
so cool to see this car progress man 🤩
Hell Yeah! Been Waiting!
lmaoo calls out mans for making excuses then proceeds to make excuses on why he took so long to manual swap it 😂
hey we dont talk about my excuses ok 😂
Robbie Ferreira cant wait to see the whole swap done and u guys doing some slides 😍
@@RobbieFerreira how do you wire the clutch pedal?!
너도 변명하냐
Great video man! Good job on the swap 🤘😎
I love yout Videos.. just god home from work jumped on sofa and watching it now
YES :D
Awesome content as always Robbie!!
Hope you have a great week :)
Just so you know what the parts are called, the brake pedal is hooked up to the brake booster which is hooked up to the brake MASTER which pushes the SLAVE. Same concept for your clutch. The pedal pushes on the master which in turn pushes on the slave
let’s goooo so hype for this
Let’s gooooo !!!
I remember when i first subscribed around 20k now look at you, keep it up shout out from Australia 🍺👌
will never be disappointed in these vids!
Huge respect for doing this in one video!
Very satisfying the way you edit all the torque wrench clicks
Sick video! I'm planning to do this on my 2014 NC Miata and these videos help!
Save the manuals! It's good to see you making progress on the Genesis.
I recently purchased a manual car to be my new daily - a 2007 Mini Cooper S, 6 speed manual. It's a fun car to drive and it handles well. I missed shifting through the gears and having that extra control over what my car does. Also, with my new ride being a manual, less people will even ask me if they can take it for a test drive.
Keep producing the content, I look forward to watching your videos, every time I see that you've posted something else.
I've been waiting!
The garage is looking good with the pretty much complete cars
Genesis looks so good! Glad to say I own one too!
I would do definitely recommend the megan racing transmission mount. It makes a BIG difference in shifting. Great video!
Love the videos!
The legend is back again! hello Emerson!
been waiting for this video indeed Robbie
MANUAL BABY 🔥🔥🔥
Glad it’s finally done! I bet having the lift made it a lot easier to do.
Stay committed💪🏼
About time brother
you can get this thing that makes threads and then your shift pole will fit any shift knob, as long as the shift knob has adapters
Love your enthusiasm! I’m considering buying a manual Genesis with a bad motor and a damaged automatic Genesis for parts. Taking the automatic engine and swapping it into the manual should be a breeze compared to what you guys pulled off (I hope!) Great video!! 👍😇
Woot! Manual!
Well I think Brad's 240sx is coming into one piece and it's lit💖🔥
Maaan that is sweet! I really want this conversation for my 2016 Genesis 3.8 Sedan.
Finally yesss
I hope my Honda will be that easy good work bro 😎
Keep up the good content 👍
normally you unbolt the torque converter bolts where there will be an inspection/cover plate at the front of trans and you can get a socket in to get those bolts and get a breaker bar on the harmonic balancer to turn the engine over to get the rest of them and the torque converter will just come out with the trans . But you got it done your way might just save time if you ever do another auto trans
Finally the time has come!
So dope man I pulled the old trans on my mk4 jetta to swap the clutch and I imagine rwd is easier
Mini gear knobs are the same, I ended up with a universal mishimoto weighted shifter with a piece of rubber glove over the stick to it doesn’t move😂
Ayyyy, let's go! #hyped #committedcrew
Hell yeah dude 🤟🏼
NOTIFICATION GANG!
THIS is going to be VERY entertaining!!🔥
You should watch Ricer Miata remove transmissions, he's a pro at doing it wrong, 😆 😆 😆!!
Finally!!!
Finallyyy
DIY shiftboot: free rug sample, trim to size, cut center hole for shifter. I recommend something plush
So my bro works for a major car company and basically they all use what are referred to as platforms. Each platform has generic placement bolts/mounts for various options and they usually come with swappable add-ons. So the auto chassis might then have a standard firewall plate which has all 3 pedal locations stamped in. Where as the manual chassis would have the mounts/holes for the longer/deeper configuration. Pretty common actually. It's also why a lot of parts from different companies all swap to each other.
Use your main crank bolt or the best way is to loosen the flywheel bolts BEFORE you drop the trans.
LETS GOOOOOOO
Get yourself someone who is as excited as you about putting on a new transmission 😅
9:28 love Courtney's face
NOTIFICATION GANG sick vid!
Thank you spirit for the messages
This is amazing
Love the Genesis. Are there gonna be more videos on the 240?
Dude makes this look easy
raceseng makes a shift knob adapter and some dope weighted knobs got one on my genny
YES YES YES
I bought a stock rubber piece for the MT brake pedal and just cut both sides the AT then slipped on the MT rubber pedal. So it looks stock.
Solid vid
Excuse counter on point ... but other than that great work robbie on getting the frist steps done
Finally!
HELL YEAH
You need to take off the starter to be able to get to the bolts from the starter hole, and rotate the engine by the crank go get the other bolts. And then the torque converter should slide off
earlier than white dads to an airport
my asian dad is earlier like 5-10hrs before the flight
winston Yu why lie bro
@@emiliano29171316 its tru tho lol
@@emiliano29171316 im not, when we went to australia 5 years ago, we literally got there 5 hours early and he kept on checking on my passport and ticket. i downloaded youtube vids for the flight but i finished them all before the flight
Emiliano why you sat here doubting something you don’t know shit about.
He experienced it first hand, and you are the one say he is incorrect, lmao get out.
LETSSSS GOOOOO
Also Robbie Love your vids💯
Great video all you had to do was turn the trans mount around the other way and it will bolt up. It should have a auto side and a manual side to it. That’s what I learned lol. I enjoy all your videos especially the ones with the Genesis keep them coming
Can you tell me what you did to the parking sensor from the auto shifter? Also did you keep you auto ecu and tcu plugged in or did you put in a manual ecu because I have both sets. Just not sure how to get either to turn the car over. We the switches on the clutch even be used?
i just bought a drive shaft off ebay to manual swap my 1990 miata lol also from canada and i also bought a dnd wheel since you rep them so much.
You don't have to drill the trans mount brace. There are pre drilled threads in the chassis already under a tape. Peel tape off and flip the trans mount brace and it will align with the bolts

never clicked so fast lol
LETS GOOO
How did you do the research to know what parts you need? I have a second gen Mazda 3 and I wanna make it a speed so bad. Great vid man btw
Typically you take the torque converter bolts out before you take the transmission out. And if you're having trouble again put a big 1/2 breaker bar on the crank bolt and hold it while you loosen the torque converter bolts
You can flash the ecu to manual tune
I'm not educated on car parts I'm just someone that can drive but i kinda understood everything going on in this video, I guess it makes sense but was intressting to me!
fire 🔥
I believe on some cars the manual floor pans are different from the autos
after all of robbies videos I feel like he makes anything look easy and do able no matter how stupid I am
Lets gooooooo
BRO! you kinda make it look easy for a swap. i just bought a 14 coupe 2.0t 130,000 miles drove it home less than 100 miles and engine blew! looking at doing a swap as well. any suggestions would be dop!
What rear bumper is that loving the slick aggressive look on it
