he movie Jurassic Park has taught us that scientists shouldn’t experiment with the DNA of extinct creatures, as it could end badly. Nonetheless, given the rapidly advancing science and the opportunities that open up, scientists can’t pass up the chance to revive extinct animals. And thus, they’re already actively engaged in attempts to resurrect creatures that have long been gone. In today's video, we’ll tell you about 10 extinct animals that scientists are going to revive in the near future.

You clearly don't know English. Believe what you want. It's not really a cat or a dog either. You're the kind of guy who doesn't know the difference between a kilogram and a Newton but will swear that metric systems are better than other system. They aren't. It's all man-made. I’d like to believe they evolved to chickens.
Jackalopes: Uh, *What*
*feed it to the wolves*
Instead of trying to resurrect animals, we should try to keep animals from becoming extinct
Exactly.
hmm why not both?
Vince Fabila I think it isn’t a good idea to bring back any instinct animals. The environment has evolved to live without them, it can cause other animal species to become instinct. We should just focus on the animals who are currently still living.
Yep
well actually if we can successfully revive animals we can keep everything from going extinct plus most of the animals going extinct are already going down hill at a point beyond return so doing this is first priority
3,120 years later: let’s create King Kong and godzilla they will be nice.
Them: nope.
My vote goes for the Passenger Pigeon. It's species was wrongfully decimated imo
Good choice
Shouldn’t we focus on saving the animals that are alive right now-
Yes we should. They need to get their priorities straight.
You know there are people with different jobs right, just because some people do this in their field doesn’t mean others aren’t doing everything the can to save the animals now a days
@@FrostyPipe You're probably right. I still think this is a bad idea though. Bringing these animals back might ruin the ecosystem
@@FrostyPipe if you really think about it it’s pointless tho. These animals would just either live unfulfilled lives in captivity or just be killed off by poachers in a heart beat. We should focus on controlling poaching and protecting the endangered species before introducing more species that would just be bound to go extinct again.
So we’re bored of those animals. We want to see mammoths 🦣

I think it would be hilarious if they brought back a creature well known for being a carnivore and then find out it doesn't actually eat meat. Like if they revived a t-rex and then watched it lethargically munch on some leaves. I would LOVE to see the looks on scientists' faces if that happened.
I would laugh until my lungs cant take it anymore
It'd be funny, but it's extremely unlikely. All you need to do is look at a T-Rex's teeth to know it's a meat-eater. It would be hard for it to much leaves without flat teeth.
@@JTCurtisMusic That's why it would be hilarious. We see sharp teeth and assume they couldn't chew leaves with that, but imagine if they actually had some unknown and unexpected technique that allowed them to do so. The looks of shock on scientists' faces would be incredible.

The Irish elk are just going to be hunted to extinction, and I agree with whiteknightcat sooo much. We can't even take care of the existing animals. I think it's just like what my mum used to say: "clean up the first mess before you make another one."

You never know how out of hand this can get... scientists could be making a big mistake which could break all humanity

Humans have been doing so since we first started cultivating crops and domesticating animals. The difference here is we can do it faster with better knowledge of _what_ we're doing, allowing us to minimise or even repair harm previously done. We've already screwed over countless ecosystems and changed the global climate. If we just keep on keeping on, we'll extinct ourselves along with almost everything alive today. We _need_ to "play god" in order to fix what we broke.
