- This video shows our very proud Amur Tiger mum, Ronja, with her three 12 week old female cubs, on the day the cubs come face to face with their dad, Pan! Ronja was never far away, and she was very quick to step in and re-assure with quiet chuffing noises and licks when they got scared but her calm attitude to the whole changing enclosures, and meeting dad, helped her cubs through this very big, scarey, event!
Watch this space to see what the cubs did next! Video taken by
Jackie Thomas at Wildlife Heritage Foundation.
The way he reacted when his foot brushed by the ball
😂😂😂😂
Lmmfaooo😂😂😂😂
WOW I just pretty much said the SAME thing without even seeing your post I thought I would be the ONLY one to see it LOL
ahahahh that was funny
Same like house cats
I laughed a lot seeing their sweet n sour relation. Daddy tiger got anxious seeing his children. He got so nervous that he was startled by that ball. But one thing surprised me that how the cub was fearless and confident in front of the big dadd like it was "come on dad i am your kid!!"
Yeah, that's precious
3:18 - the cub trying to imitate his/her father's roar is adorable
I think the cub is annoyed
Papa roars at the cub and the cub roars back, cheeky fellow:)
3:15
Girl. All 3 are girls
nadine brown we once had a teacher, whom we asked for patience. He answered: I have 5 daughters, I don't have patience!
actually, I'm not a fan of EVERY big cat, but mostly tigers. Lions I can't stand, especially the arrogant lazy male, but that doesn't mean, that I won't view some videos with lions as well.
@@unavitadellamusica male tigers are the same as male lions. imagine assigning human traits to wild animal;s and thinking you're a fan.
1:14 It's a big cat, but still a cat.
at 3:14 you can see the cub trying to roar, how cute
seems like its his first kids since he didn't really know how to react haha
all of them are like that, they know what to do in the first place
He doesn't have alcohol or calming tablets, hard role of father
Oh my goodness gracious me he doesnt like his own cub??? What a dad he is🙁🙁🙁🐕👋???
Male tigers don't typically raise cubs. There have been rare documented cases in the wild, but it's not something they do usually.
@@notthefather3919 most male species dont
“Kevin, would you just calm down? We talked about this-they’re just children.”
Maybe This Time Kevin? More like Dimitri.
Vin C ohh yeah right haha.
But easy to see who is the boss, it’s the small tiger cub 😆
LOL
😂😂😂
Ten times in one day probably
He's genuinely scared of them! Those are defensive 'stay away from me man!' swings, not at all aggressive. Imagine how you'd feel if a miniature human, the likes of which you'd never seen before, suddenly came running and started crawling up your legs shouting hi hi ha ha he ho dada!
That would be scary..🤣🤣🤣🤣 Because then it would be like whose their mom??🤣🤣
1:13 is the best...... 😂😂😂
Jesttt the tiger got scared by the ball yes ?? U noticed !!!! 😂
Yeah, that was the funniest thing ever!
Ha ha! Was about to post the same thing. Proof that however big they are, cats are still cats. :-D
Thought it was a cub and he is not used to them yet
The ball suprised him lol x'D
Couldn't stop laughing at that part
I think that one cub that he kept hitting is gonna be his favorite
The little cubs are sooo cute. Love them. Thanks for sharing this video.
The dad is terrified of his kids !
Nope.
I don't understand that male cats do not help in raising their kits that goes with a lot of animals.
He is telling his kids that he the boss.
@Smiles and the Twisted MD You beat me to it. That was a very rasist comment by that pig.
He isnt about that child support life
The new Dad may be the powerful in his territory but he is so scared to handle his kids delicately. you can see at 1:11 how nervous he was when he tripped over that ball.
And the lil jump back he did so cute
1:13 the ball startled him😂😂
Its interesting how the cubs instinctively know that theyre not endanger. Like they know the male is their father and poses no danger
to them.
kgeedi or they’re just curious and went to check him out but yeah your probably right
Because their mother took them to the male tiger and let them approach him. The cubs instinctively always follow their mother's direction.
They were just curious and had no idea what he might do. Not because he was their father.
If 2 male lions mated with the female, the cubs would approach both the same way.
GideonHiker he knows exactly, if they are his cubs or not, by instinct. In case they weren't his cubs in the wild, he would kill them. That's to ensure, that only his genes survive.
unavitadellamusica yep if they weren't his they definitely would be dead, like you said they would be competition for him when they mature, and in the wild their mother wouldn't let them anywhere near him if he wasn't their father
Man, those Cubs are so cute
So nervous about meeting the kid got startled by the ball,😆 😆,surprise dad your world just changed!!
3:38 male:them not my kids
female: yes they are
cub:yea you heard that!
Brave Boy
"Than little lioness kills ugly lion"
Fixed.
Abdul Rehman Sheikh
No. Tigers will always be better than lions, regardless of what you think about me, or tigers. Tigers > Lions.
Abdul Rehman Sheikh
Your comment makes no sense.
Nothing the director says states anything relevant. She works with captive animals.
Wait its funny when you tell me that, because in that video the tiger won the fight.
And if i can prove its a tigress, it is indeed a tigress. Its not a excuse.
And they are captive animals which does not matter.
animals are not assholes like a human male. they already know from the scent they are theirs.
He must be a first time dad
Big Cats cubs and dads are always fun to watch. 😆😆
Why are tiger cubs so cute?
He doesn't know how roughly to play with them. 0:50 "Oh my god, they're so delicate, that little swipe sent him flying!" 0:55, 0:57 "Just the slightest touch" 1:11 "Maybe it's best if I just back away and don't even touch you at all, no, stay away, for your own good oh GODDAMN IT who left this ball here!"
The cubs is hungry, when they sounds like that. I saw some videos when the babies are sounding like that. Most gorgeous cubs and most gorgeous mom and dad tigers. Tigers are the most beautiful animals.
I love them beyond belief.
He acts just like a cat daddy. Scared but happy. He was even freaked out by the toys. lol.
It's quite hilarious to see a cat as big as the father yet prone to sudden fright, those babies must have really spooked him
And the parents are definitely in love...
Look how much bigger dad is than mom. Dad seems a little nervous to meet his cubs. Dad is chuffing a greeting to his offspring. He is just not sure about these miniature tigers. Dad is doing a lot of swatting at the cubs. In the wild, the cubs might see their father once in a while, but their mother does all the cub rearing. Lions are the only TRULY social cats that live in prides. Tiger Mum's are pretty much on their own. Dad may come around from time to time but he is not around like a male lion. Female cats, big and small raise the kittens or cubs by thenselves.🐯💖🐯💖🐯
I wonder if the dad realizes these cubs are his babies? He seems scared of them. The cubs just want to get near the big guy. They are fascinated. He is a big, beautiful tiger.
@@rachelschwebach7566- they will have a scent that he will recognise, and mother’s behaviour will reinforce that.
0:52 Dad looking at Mom like "hey babee...where r u going? don't leave me here...take the kid with you ..."
0:50 omf XD
"Papa!"
"..No" *Smack*
"D:"
@Kitty Buttcheeks Clone dead? Like a zombie?
3:27 CUB: MYYYY mom! Mine! My mom! get out old guy! that is my mommy!
Pan is most likely a first time dad, hence why his reaction is so odd to people at first. Overall, he acts like a happy and proud father tiger.
no, actually all male cats are like that - rough with their young ones.

Not right
Dad: Honey, this is more than I bargained for. Mom: Well honey they are yours they got your stripes!
Smack smack smack, ok you survived now I can love you.
When Dad's had a pretty bad day at work and you are just in the middle of everything
The big male cat looks like he's never seen or interacted with cubs before! It's like what are these pesky little runts in my way?!!
3:20, Lol:
- honey, I love you, buy WTF are these??
- well, you made them *walks away*
🤣
cute cubs! Dad is rather grumpy
Beautiful cats
Absolutely bloody wonderful!
Near the end Mom walks away followed by the cubs thinking
"this won't work out, I'll have to leave him and draw cub support payments."
I love d the part where the ball scared the crap out of daddy
Dad playing slap boxing and almost trips over toy.... just like my fam!
What a magnificent animals!!!!
Dad's a little grumpy :-D
3:09 Tries to get quality time with moms...child has discovered that he comes first now...father goes to get a beer
0:07 Cub: Hey big dude! Whatsup? ... Holy shit ... they are opening the gates ... Mommmm!
Mom: Hey ... whats going on here?
Cub: Yeah ... whats going on here?
Big cats are very paternal.
LOL Big Male tiger scared of a big red ball and a tiny baby cub hahahaha he's a grumpy daddy🐯❤🐾
1:12 is when Dad has too much coffee
Ever Cubs mamals are adorables
Mom is telling dad, “these are your children!” Little one telling pops, “I still love you daddy!” It’s kind a like the tiger way of Forrest Gump seeing his son for the first time...
All I see is LOVE!
I love tigers!
Dad: BACK UP! I’ON KNOW YOU!
Cub: I’M YOURS BRUH! Whatchu mean you’ont know me?
On know mean
Mama says, "You be nice to the children!"
Wow...enthralled to just see the beauty and size of an Amur tiger...wowww...
Male is young and female is older one assuming from their size... wonderful kids...
Wonder what would happen if a human comes in front in wild Siberia of a huge Amur tiger...No chance at all even to John Cena....
Nature is great....
That's a big male tiger!
Beautiful tiger j love tiger. And cubs the best animal in the word!!!!!
I like when Papa tiger snarled at his cub, the little tyke snarled back and then joined her mother. Good for you, little one. You showed daddy what you are made of - that is heart and spunk. Very gorgeous tiger family. A long and happy life to all of them. ❤
I think dad was like “You’ve got a long way to go little one!” Father tiger is a unit who just wants his space. Father tigers almost never see their cubs in the wild (there have been exceptions), so not surprising he’d be stand-offish.
@@nathanwilliams2152 You are right. I did once see a video in which a father tiger was raising his cubs. The mother showed up after a lengthy absence and tried to approach the babies. Papa tiger snarled at her as a warning for her to keep away. He did not hurt her because he knew she was the cubs' mother. He was just making sure his cubs were safe. This was a very unusual, but touching story.
Dad tiger is like honey what are these small things that look like us lol
Him said dam aint my babies we need to take a blood test 🤣🤣
The dad is just playing with the cubs just watch it carefully
Nature is remarkable.
Thnx , nice vid .
Grouchy papa. A bit scary for those babies a couple of times.
0:45 My pops or uncles would do this too. Box us in the ears, toughen us up and then fall back on a toy and be like who put that there. I feel like I’m watching my home movies or flashbacks being re-enacted by tigers.
These cubs look like they are photocopies of each other.
Daddy: I end this little kids carrier lol
Amo osservare il comportamento di questi animali cosi' uguali ai nostri gatti felini the best
0:17 - Zookeeper - opens door partially
Tiger - Y'all think I can fit through that
Tigress (arrives) - Honey, have you put on extra weight? How come you cannot fit through this anymore?
Cub: Dad check it out, I can fit through this even though you can't!
That cub was so mad his dad.😂😂
1:25 and 2:15 the other 2 cubs are still trying to figure out how to get to the other side of the fence
Dad is a bruiser and not to be trifled with. While he wasn’t at all affectionate he at least tolerated the cubs for the most part. He seemed a bit on edge and the female helped to calm him down so he would more accepting of his offspring.
This is dad's first time ever meeting the cubs directly like this. He is nervous and doesnt know.
Geeze, that one is bad news walking up to dad like that! XD
Cub:Daddy play with me.
Dad:go to mom
1:10: oh shit imma just leave " 1:13 : Fuuuuuck" a ball
Do u not know how to communicate
Now those cubs are old enough to be dads
The dad is like "what the fuck have I done"!
Male tiger 🐅: go to your room and give your mom and I some privacy!
Don't be mean dad...he's just little!
1:13 : lol, awwwww
Seems Dad couldn't be bothered.
Aww 😽
Dad seems scared of the cubs. He is too rough with them. In the wild cubs have no relationship with their fathers.
Rachel Schwebach
As the statement from the sanctuary said which you can see, this is the tigers first time with the cubs and he is cautious, he doesnt know. Male lions literally fight and steal food from their own cubs in the wild, lions are pricks. In the wild tigers are regularly seen with their cubs and have a better relationship.
@@Paul-nr6nm
Both lions and tigers steal food from their cubs, that's in their nature.
I think the only think more brutal about lions is that there are rare instances where the male will kill their own cubs in order for the female to be ready to mate again sooner. Don't know if that happens with tigers.
Also I don't know if tigers (male or female) will kill rival tigers cubs like lions will do ABSOLUTELY every chance they get.
@@Ryan-ni7mo
Never has a male tiger stolen food from his own cubs. Male lions never kill their own cubs, they only kill cubs that arent theirs. They dont just do that when they are horny.
That’s not true. Tiger fathers do come and go for visits in the wild, there are tons of videos and photos showing this. There was even one male tiger where the mothers of two of his separate litters died and he raised a total of 5 cubs successfully on his own to adulthood. They don’t live with the family like lions but they will step up and fight if they are nearby if a new male enters their territory. It’s just that we humans don’t see it readily like we do with lions. Unlike male lions, male tigers are very chivalrous, they let their mates and cubs feed first if they get together for a day while he steps back and waits his turn.
OMG a ball!
''Pan, gentle. Good boy.''
Cute
He thinking, what have I done..3 kids at once, holy macaroni I am out of here :) No he did great
Tiger is a solitary unlike lion
Dad:u didn't teach them ,how to respect their father
Mom:no they are too small to learn
Cubs: cub dad just we want play with u
Dad: Look kids I am not into this creepy affectionate stuff
The father is in a grumpy mood! He needs a glass of beer or a joint or both
the way he hits his cub though thats mean bro
This seems to me to be stressing out ... all of them!
I hope Pops comes around at some point.
What a smack Dad Gave that little cub next to the ball...that little one is gona be the next EMPEROR...bravest out of all the cubs..BEAUTIFUL KING of all BEAST!!
Imagine if they made cartoon movies showing that? Oo wee the controversy.
Male tigers are aware of their instincts can be dangerous to the cubs. even a reactive swipe with his paw can kill the cub instantly. hence he is trying to keep physical distance as much as possible. the cubs cant understand that. so the Dad is in guilty of his own instincts.
