    Dude, legit just spent the entire day trying go get the bearing outer race out of the sleeve because I couldn't figure out how to remove the entire sleeve from the swingarm/differential...came across this video and less than 10 minutes later, had the piece out and ready to put the new bearings in...your video came in clutch man!

    I did mine the same way. I thought the piece you said to leave on to stop bearing was a piece of the old one.. Shit might be going back in there

    Nice video.
    I was curious if that was just a cover over the axel.

      Sure was, just a tube, pretty sturdy though.

      I put the link for the one I bought in the description below the video. Brand shouldn’t matter much if you grab it locally.

      Put it in the freezer all night, and bust it out in the morning with a pole/screwdriver

    Your axle tube is flared out, bearing wear faster with flared out tubes

      @WizDom21  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks for the observation! So far haven't had any issues and have put around 400 miles on it since, but we'll see what happens.

  • @gnarlygarlic
    @gnarlygarlic Před 3 lety +1

    How far did you drive in the bearing? Seems like there is no stop point in my axle tube

    • @WizDom21
      @WizDom21  Před 3 lety

      Hey lucky, if I remember correctly it did appear to have a small lip inside(hardly noticeable, but either way I couldn't get it all the way down so I figured as long as it was in deep enough with the slow tapping, the tightening of the axle to the hub should get that final push needed to get it flush as intended.

      @WizDom21  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey Jacob, thanks for stopping by! Yes, if it is a Solid real axle Honda
      Foreman, the process should be similar. I found this video that could be of use to you aswell, it's for a 2006 Foreman. czcams.com/video/cVDX4HkVPf4/video.html

      No problem, that bearing was a stubborn one. I don't even wanna think about the other side's bearing 😆. Good to hear you got it replaced, happy riding!
