  • This chainsaw with an unknown brand has twisted the crankshaft. The material of which it is made is non hardened or just poor quality. This is normal when given the low price of the chainsaw.

I understand that not everyone can afford a $400 or more saw but these are not worth spending ANY amount of money on. Most shops won’t touch these because the parts are hard to find if at all and they always come back with an angry customer.

Hello, can I ask what is the difference between a 52cc crankshaft and a 58cc crankshaft, can be both the same in length? Thanks

Sorry but I don't open the 58cc chainsaw. Between 52cc and 43cc there no difference. The difference is only in diameter of the piston and cylinder.

Hello, you can put a little glue on the thread and tighten it

Hello, I wanted to see how you did for unmounting the flywheel but unfortunately it was already done, so you must have contiued without including that part, very unfortunate, that was just the part I needed to see in depth. While trying to remove the flyweel with a bearing puller I broke the flywheel. I wonder, after unmounth the center screw on the flywheel, is there some kind of a circlips at the bush where the cracksaft is coming out of? Would appreciate if you could send me the how to procedure for that part. Thank you so much for your help.

      Hello,
Sorry, I really miss to upload the part where removing the flywheel.
The crankshaft ends with a cone, and the flywheel is fixed only with the central nut.
If you can't remove it with a bearing clamp, you can try the following ...
After unscrewing the center nut, place a screwdriver between the flywheel and the cylinder so that the flywheel is locked. Then strike the crankshaft with a hammer, screwing a few turns of the nut to protect the thread.

More info? How much did you pay for the saw? How long has it been working? Did you have any other issues with it?

      hello
the chainsaw is not mine, it was just for repair.
There are always problems with these Chinese saws. Their weak points are the chain covers, starters, rails, and if it is loaded a little more, the crankshaft is twisted.

@@tusheeNaydenov by "loaded a little more" you mean (ab)using it at the highest revs or just using it for cutting for a let's say long period?
