Great video!! I've eaten dairy free ice cream for 20+ years now. And Tofutti was the first I ever tried. I love their mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches. I've also had the So Delicious ones which are good. And those Alden Farms caramel ones are so yummy! But I really need to try those Coolhaus ice cream sandwiches now. I used to buy Rice Dream Ice Cream Pies all the time -Oatmeal cookies with ice cream and dipped in chocolate. They were so good but I haven't seen them in a long time.
I was disappointed by the tofutti mint bars bc i love the regular and I am a big choc mint fan, but I felt like they used mint instead of peppermint. It tasted like toothpaste instead of a thin mint

It's like you read my mind with this one. I've had the tofutti and the so delicious. I wish so delicious would put their cashew based ice cream in the sandwich. I've seen all the other ones but haven't tried yet. I'm weird in that I like the smaller size of the tofutti and so delicious because too much vegan ice cream makes my tummy upset. I think the caramel ones would be great for when we have family visiting

The Jolly Llama dairy-free cones (think an ice cream drumstick) are delicious! I preferred the vanilla flavor over the chocolate one (and I loooove chocolate!) I did not care for their sandwiches, but they may have been freezer burnt.
Tofutti also has ice cream in pints, at least they used to. I had a favorite from them years ago. I might have to see if it’s still sold. I have the soy delicious sandwiches in my freezer now. I’m happy to have found them again because they had disappeared from my stores.
Finally working on a backlog of "watchlist" videos. And, yeah, I must agree that it's difficult to find _bad_ vegan ice cream (unlike vegan hot dogs or even vegan burgers). And I haven't seen some of these brands! (Nearest Whole Foods or Trader Joe's is a bit of a drive.) ... But I also recall brands I haven't seen in a few years...like Rice Dream? Anyway, So Delicious nd Tofutti are good!

Thank you for mentioning the pea protein. I am lactose intolerant and my son is allergic to peas and soy so it's a headache finding things that we can all eat together.
I went out for the Alden's and Cool Haus today. They didn't have Alden's, but I bought the Cool Haus and that was the best ice cream sandwich I've ever had in my life! I bought the Cookies and Cream between the chocolate cookies and the cookie really is like a bakery cookie. I'm not vegan... Just allergic to dairy and finally giving it up to stop having skin reactions.

Coolhaus chocolate is the best! So rich that I split it with my daughter or husband. (Cookie dough is also really good. ) Worst part is that I have to drive an hour to find them. 🙁
The So Delicious brand did a number on my stomach. I have never felt such a pain. It was excruciating, and I couldn't sleep for hours. I would not recommend that one, ever
I’m not a fan of chocolate but I will eat like a snicker and my best friend loves chocolate and is allergic. It annoys her so much that I don’t really like it lol.
