Last time I thrifted I saw a set of lamps, they were so dirty & coated in smoke, dust, dirt you could barely see what they looked like so I left them. But, when I got home something was tugging at my brain about those lamps. I had seen them somewhere maybe? I didn't know why they were burning on my mind...Then it hit me, I thought I saw a set like that online and they were quite expensive!!! I went back the next day praying they were still there, and they were. Everybody looked at me crazy for digging out these 2 dirty lamps. I paid for them, got a great deal. Got them home and cleaned them up. OMGosh..there so beautiful..not a nick or scratch on them anywhere. They're vintage and valued around $800!!! I don't care what they're worth..I love them!! I'm still in shock kind of when I think about it 😂❤❤❤

I agree I can’t believe they didn’t have a changing room and then people were trying on clothes in the back of the store in a front of mirrors. I have been in stores out of town where no one spoke English and it is very frustrating. I love the baskets, mirror and so many other things you picked up. 😊❤😊🛍🛍

Last year my boyfriend & I went to Florida on vacation & I told him ahead of time that I wanted to go to Tampa to that thrift store. I found all these clothes to try on to also discover that there wasn’t a dressing room 🤦♀️ I ended up keeping one skirt / I tried it on over my shorts. I love old boxes & Ron found an old humidor box for cigars. I got a couple more things, but I wouldn’t have spent so much time in the cloths had I known you couldn’t try on.
I bought my grandkids Easter baskets
From the thrift store also. The ones that you found were a little bigger & cheeper. I bought mine at goodwill. I have to say the prices have gone up a lot there!!!!! I think you did really well on your thrift trip ❣️

So happy to hear y’all are going to church. We go to a Cowboy Non Denomination Church in our town. My husband plays bass in the church band. We’ve been going about 2 yrs now. Finding a church you enjoy is so gratifying.

I think you are absolutely right about different aged people pricing things differently. The older generation-my generation- understand that the stuff “needs to go”. The idea is to SELL. LOL. I always look for the older sales people.

The carved box is from India. They were popular in the late 1970s. It is vintage I bought one for my college dorm room.

I just laughed out loud when you were saying you almost broke your mirror as you were trying to hear someone yelling 😂 I would have done the same thing! 🌼 So nice you could have a break and having a day to do what you want and that you could do that for 3 hours! What a nice thrifting trip. I've seen people use those decanters to put mouthwash on a tray with a glass cup on their bathroom counter, or for guest bathroom. It would also be a nice for iced tea or other beverage Happy Easter !! :)

So the cute little wooden box you said you’ve seen before but didn’t know where. We have a box that looks almost identical and it’s what our dog’s ashes were sent to us in.

I love how hot pink is your lucky color when thrifting. ❤ I never have a game plan when going thrifting, I mainly just browse to see what I can find. ❤ I would not try on clothes in the open either but I would use the restroom as a dressing room.😂 Wow buying baskets from the thrift stores is such a creative and genius idea, I never would have thought about doing that. 😂❤ yes my mom definitely picked up stuff for me even though I am a adult just because it reminds her of me. I will be doing the same thing for my future kids as well. ❤🥰🎨
