One problem.The jury can look at the documents involved in this case.That jury also heard Cohen and Trump discussing payment arrangements. Cohen already told the jury that he lied,he also apologized for his lies.Trump never spoke for himself.. This jury's going to find Trump guilty.

The DA has spent no time establishing why hush money would be a crime and casually glanced over Cohen admitting that it was extortion. The best witness they had (only one that directly implicated Trump) lied on the stand. Only reason their is a chance for a conviction, bc it’s NYC. It would have been over anywhere else

If this was a normal judge and normal jury, I would rest and not call Costello, but the defense almost has to be the one to prove the case due to the bias involved, so I would call Costello.

The big question is, did Bragg and his d.a.'s know about the text timeline, and there for know Cohen was going to lie on the stand.

The prosecution still has not stated what the crime is in this case. All they have alleged so far is a book keeping allegation that is a misdemeanor and the statute of limitation ran out years ago, they seem to be trying to bootstrap onto a federal finance election law but the FEC already investigated this and said there was no violation of federal election law and once that slapped Bragg in the face he pivoted over to a New York State election law statute but the problem with that law is it only applies to state elections not federal elections and the presidency is a federal election so the New York law does not apply. That is why Bragg has still not stated what law was violated that bumps this to a felony and he is resting his case once Cohen is done being demolished from testifying.
So why aren't you representing him in court
The judge already decided they could "chain" the business records violation with the 2016 election interference. And, Prosecution thoroughly proved the 2016 election interference - Trump used The National Enquirer to propagate fake stories about competitors - Ted Cruz, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, and later Hillary - and conceal stories about himself. But this is the weak link of Prosecution's case: we have only Cohen's word that *_Trump was aware _* of the illegal misrepresentation of the purpose of Trump's payments to Cohen. (Without Trump's awareness, they can't convict on the business records violation.) I look forward to the Prosecution closing argument!

Michael Cohen lied about Trump knowing about the payment. Trump did not know about it. Period. I guess you missed the part in the beginning when it was pointed out that Cohen either lied before when he said Trump knew nothing about it, or is he lying now when he says Trump did know it? Which is it? Evidence, as in personal witness testimony, that Cohen is lying once again.
