Wow! I'm late, but I just "discovered" Kokomo yesterday by being in a Facebook group with two of the members. I was trying to figure out who they sang with based on the conversation. I'm finally hearing/seeing them. I'm sooooooo impressed!!!!!! Now, I want to hear more!!!!!!

@@alanoneill3065 Known as, "Whispering Bob". In our home it was hard to pick up BBC 2 at all despite not being far from the Crystal Palace transmitter, We bought a directional aerial, (Group A, horizontally polarised, I will have you know )put it in the loft, used low loss co ax down to the black and white Tv, and job done. I also liked "So it Goes" from Ganada Tv, they did feature a Cado Belle concert.
Fabulous piece of blue eyed soul featuring the mighty Jim Mullen on the guitar
aha...I was wondering if he was fearured in this
One of my favourite bands at the time. Saw them at the Marquee and all the usual spaces in the mid-70's. Had so much funk it almost hurt...
Great song by Bobby Womack. New Birth obviously had a huge hit with it. Kokomo took it to a whole other level. Ms. Birch was an INCREDIBLE singer!!!
RIP Dyan Birch. Voice!
Her vocals will "Survive"....(Arrival)...
Oh so sad.
RIP Mr Alan Spenner, you ALWAYS brought the Funk....loved your work in Roxy Music Sir
Great band saw them at Torrington Pub in N Finchley 1974 what a sound so different !!

Thx for sharing, great clip, great band. Didn't realise this even existed. Cheers!
One of my fav bands from back in the day!
Dyan Birch ...what a singer.....whether lead - as in Arrival - or as here, as backing vocals, she was exceptional.
Funky and groovy 🤗 with a lot of energy . Thanks.
Saw them on the same bill as chilli Willi and the red hot peppers ooooooohhh sooooo goooooodd

Now that’s what you call a heavenly choir 👏
Jim Mullen, his Tele and his magic thumb!!!!
Great, a Tele straight into the amp. What a sound.
Takes guts to cover Bobby Womack songs. So good!
Can I recommend Cado Belle
Thank you... I don't know. Is it a song, band, artist...?
@@DBfor70sIt was a diet.
Indeed..it was criminal that they only made one album...so I can recommend them too. Sadly Alan Darby died earlier this year.
