Thank you for this video! I spent seven days now in May 2024 and i can't wait to go back. It was as beautiful as i imagined, but also so much more! I stayed close to Fira but not in the center itself and moved around using the local bus system, which worked great for me as a solo traveler. If possible, I recommend to visit Santorini on the so called shoulder months, like May, September and October. Weather is still great, even nicer cause its not sooooo warm, things are still open but the amount of turists drastically reduces.
VINSANTO ! THE BEST MONEY CAN BUY !
Fantastic video thank you ❤
nice.keep it up
Excellent. Obviously, it is more relaxing when you stay longer than 2 or 3 days. We are going in October for 14 days: 4 Days in Kamari, 4 in Firostefani (staying right on the edge of the Caldera), 2 inland in Karterados, and the last 4 on the beach in Perissa. We will rent a car to travel around each area we are staying at. We will be taking a semi-private (5 couples) sailboat sunset tour (3 - 9) while in Perissa. Each of the places comes with breakfast so we can enjoy relaxing mornings. The Kamari and Perissa hotels have pools. We will definitely make use of your recommendations and tips! Thanks for doing this.
Sounds like you have a great trip ahead of you, happy travels!
i loved santorini!! we only spent a few days there but 7 days sound amazing!!
Wonderful coverage!
Thank you!
Thank you for the lovely Santorini intro video 😍
You’re so welcome, thank you for the lovely comment 😊
You have given such such great tips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this vlog!
Thank you so much!! I’m so glad you liked it :)
Another superb travel video. Adored your Lisbon video, and am glad to see more. The best around - without the usual cliché fluff!
Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot! Happy travels :)
I'm vicariously satisfied. I feel like I've been on a trip. 😊
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that :)
Superb, professional quality video and such great information and ideas for our holiday in Santorini in June. Many thanks!
Thanks so much for your kind words! My pleasure! So glad to hear you had a great holiday in Santorini :)
absolutely wonderful video, you took me back to 1992 I went there for the first time, spent 5 days but could have stayed for 5 weeks! I went in August so right in the middle of summer, yes even back then it was lots of tourists but I still loved it. 2 places really stood out for me was of course Akrotiri, amazing and sad history, also Red beach blew me away, i stayed all day there it was very relaxing and the sea was so dark blue against the red sand, very strange but beautiful. I have to put a 3rd...Santorini white wine!!!!
Thank you for sharing! I can’t agree more - we could’ve stayed in Santorini for much longer. Such an amazing island
That's an incredible video! Thank you. Could you share the name of the air bnb you rented? ❤
Thank you, I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the video. I’ve linked the airbnb in the description of the video :)
Great video! Subscribed and watching your other videos. Can you share the rental car info? If I am only staying at one spot, would you recommend staying at Pirgos?
We booked a bundle of flight & car through Expedia, and it was inexpensive to rent a car online in advance. Absolutely, Pyrgos is a great location!
@@NewYorkerJuhui good to know thank you!
Hey! Just wondering, what restaurant did you go to for the Greek coffee and yellow sourdough?! Looked so good 🤤
I'm glad you asked! It's called Brusco located in Pyrgos, however, I just found out that they're temporarily closed according to Google😢 I will share their location anyway: maps.app.goo.gl/NXMirJPZCzmTkP71A I hope Google is wrong about this info... Have a great trip!
hi! great video.. when did you guys visit? what dates in what month?
We visited during mid-June!
VINSANTO ! THE BEST MONEY CAN΄T BUY !
May I know your actual day in Santorini? I saw the red beach was really windy. Thanks a lot!
Sure! It was mid June
Where did u stay in San Torino?
I'm such a big fan and really enjoyed this video. It helped me decide to stay longer when we visit next year. Just wish you hadn't made a Biden comment, ugh!!
Thank you! It means a lot to hear that. I wish you a great time in Santorini next year! Oh, that Biden joke! It wasn't meant to be a political commentary or a mean comment to the president. Somehow, every time I used the airplane stairs to exit, I get flashbacks of news clips where all the presidents make mistakes getting on the air force one :D I appreciate your comment on that.
@@NewYorkerJuhui no problem, I am probably way too serious about politics these days. I traveled to Italy several times when trump was running and then won and everywhere I went people told me how disappointed they were with America and really just shocked he won. I find most people who travel a lot are open minded and worldly so I was just surprised when you said that and I am glad you were just joking. We will definitely extend our trip in Santorini now thank you so much for such a detailed video! xo
@@mrfoo12emily Thank you for sharing your thought. I realized that despite from my intention, that clip can be easily misinterpreted in different ways in this day and age. I just edited the clip out. I think the joke is not worth it, if it can give people a wrong impression. Yes, being open-minded is so important. It's a virtue that I like to practice every day. And traveling to Santorini was another eye-opening experience! Happy travels to Santorini!!
whats the name of the hotel in Pyrgos? thanks
Here’s the link to the airbnb: shorturl.at/lKQ26
Links to your airbnbs ? And how did you get around? Did you rent a car?
I added the airbnb link in the description. I personally recommend the first airbnb only. We did a rent a car using expedia.
What time of the year was that ?
It was June
Is end of June really hot in Santorini ?im considering doing a pre wedding photo shoot there but worried it may be too hot? Any ideas anyone?
In my experience, Santorini wasn’t too hot or humid, but the sun was quite intense. During the evenings, it can be quite windy and chilly.
What time of the year did you travel ?
In mid June this year
Is thee church open always and did you need a tour guide?
You mean the Prophet Elias Monastery? No ticket or tour guide were needed
Hi! Did you mean sunset and not sunrise ?
You mean the hotel? The view I showed in this video was sunrise around 6 am :)
Thus year it was hot hot
Video is absolute waste of time. No visual material, just face of self obsessed women who is screaming for attention. Video blog has to be more concentrated on visualisation of the place, not personal presentation.
