Hell yeah 1.12.2 gets some love again finally. I am updating mine RIGHT now, these new features will help greatly. The bulk of my power generation is RBMK still so this is exceptionally useful.
as for me, the old version of nuke explosion way better than new. I mean, visual explosion. New version looks like a cartoon. Yeah, its in the minecraft style rn, but it isnt give me amazing feelings after explosion anymore. It will be good if they will make some kind of options, like in create

Really sucks I can't find anything online like a wiki, blog post, video, etc that says what the differences between the official 1.7.10 one and the extended edition other than "extended edition doesn't have everything from the original" though, does anyone really know EXACTLY what's missing in the extended edition?
There are alot of machines like the smokestacks, Electrolyzer, custom machines, drones, newer and bigger missile silos and launch pads which aren't available yet in ntm extended. Same goes for weapons like the big artillery turret and mechanics like the pollution system plus many pre-generated structures in the world Basically the original version is updated very frequently compared to ntm extended so the stuff missing is the new stuff added in the recent months

well a few updates ago bob balance out the corium generation so it no longer keeps on flowing and is directly proportional to the amount of fuel rods you use in the reactor. Aside from that I think the damage is needed as an obvious risk to running a reactor like the RBMK which is so modular and produces alot of power
It wasn't implemented and I think the idea is scrapped ... Tho I'm not sure. If it'll be completely implemented at any point I'll surely make a video on it

Yes rbmk cooler exists in ntm extended and right now there is no valve controlled by electricity. Tho you can always attack one piece of pipe to a sticky piston and control that piston remotely to mimic the action of valve
If only the doors were not redstone only Edit: they added switches and the buttons seem to work but the encased button cover triggers the door and im still trying to figure how to stop that
Wait I used to operate the doors by hand and they used to work just fine... I didn't know that has changed neither do I remember reading about it in the changelogs
@@SavageVegeta when i switched to extended from ntm reloaded i found out the doors are red stone only Also can you make a tutorial for the new control panel with the encased push button thing

The best way I can think of is using Neutrino Lens armor modification to spot it. That method works in the 1.7.10 version atleast idk about ntm extended as I forgot to check whether it was properly implemented there or not

They need to lower teh RBMK damage when it explodes becaus I got a really big Bedrock Oil Deposit Wall and my RBMK literally eats through all of it
