My golden retriever girl is the smart one out of our two, she'd probably say it was the German Shepard at the start, then at the end say "Called it!" at the big reveal xD
I knew the retriever didn't do it. I had a retriever and she was always very proud of her conquests. She got and entire box, had eaten most of them, and greater me at the door with one hanging from her mouth. Her tail wagging. Another time, she got a brand new peanut butter jar off of the counter. Got the lid off and had eaten the whole thing down as far as her tongue would reach. I saw her with it and she stood up, brought it to me, wagging her tail like she was showing me her handiwork
Mine was awful. She’d get up onto the counter and eat whole loaves of bread. She ate all of the Halloween candy, and ate boxes of tums. And Girl Scout cookies. Anything that was in the house was eaten by her. She was a good girl. Miss her so much. It’s been a very off 3+ years without her
We never get over them. I had a shih tzu (actually belonged to my folks, but everyone knew she was my dog, as she made it quite clear, lol). I lovingly called her "Fat Girl," & she always answered. Food was our mood. I miss her so much. Maybe our pupsters are playing together at the Great Kennel Kitchen while they wait for us?

Yeah, but he's a GS... Typically they're big anxiety balls with a strong tendency to overreact... 😅 Blowong his cover for no reason at the slightest sign of stress is absolutely spot on 😂
I knew it wasn’t the Pomeranian because the empty treat bag wasn’t accompanied by the hand of the person who tried to take them from her, nor by the copious amounts of vomit everywhere afterward.
Story time: I had a Jack Russell named Annie. As she got older, she wasn't in great shape, her joints weren't so good, so she could no longer jump up on the bed. I had little stairs that she climbed to get up. One night, I'd made myself a snack, hopped into bed, realised I'd forgotten my beverage. So I set the plate down on my bed, moved the stairs so Annie couldn't get up there, and went to get the beverage. Walked back into the room to see this dog (13 years old!) standing on my bed that was roughly 36 inches high, proudly smacking her chops after devouring a delicious snack. There's no way she could have jumped that high, but I can't think of any other explanation. I hadn't seen her make that jump in years. The audacity.

An old boyfriend's GS stole a whole block of cheese off the kitchen counter once - the height advantage meant he was in and out before we knew it! But then he put himself into time out after eating said cheese, and we didn't have the heart to punish him further!
My old GSD/Chow once swiped an entire pizza from on top of the oven where it was cooling in less than 60 seconds. She was in and out and we were all incredibly confused. She stayed hidden for about 5 minutes before she strolled in to say "my goodness, what happened here? Thievery of delicious pizza? Nope, I have no idea what you're talking about. This is so true, I once had a German Shepherd, her name was Cindy and she used to escape our house, go to the neighbors yard and steal their dog's food. She was well-fed but I guess it was all a game for her. No one knew but the neighbors once caught her and they said that if they hadn't seen her, they'd have never guessed it was her. The man described her as a true thief very clever and sneaky, she never made a sound not even with their stainless steel food bowls, he said he was impressed. German Shepherds are dogs that get bored easily and would do anything to keep busy. 😂😂😂😂😂
Well, if the neighbor's dog left food uneaten in her bowl, it was practically an invitation, wasn't it? My dog (a beagle mix) eats her food so quickly, no food thief would have a chance of getting even a single crumb!🤣

My favourite TV has a German Shepherd resolving actual cases on it, and this made my day. And yes, Rex stole a shit ton of food on that show. Weird was the day Christian Bock was able to eat his lunch, normally Rex got it first.

Many years ago, my late-husband's family went to church on Christmas morning and returned home to a suspiciously quiet house, not a German Shepherd in sight, and there were 6 of them (mother-in-law was a breeder). On the kitchen floor were the remains of a 22 pound turkey that had been thawing in the sink. Now how did those dogs know to hide when they heard the family come home? 😂😂😂
Why is it always Christmas haha We have a similar story about my mother in law's dog, a stick of butter, and the aftermath, which was her barfing it back up in the middle of the living room while we were all opening gifts 😂 I will never forget the sound, she literally said "Retchhh" and a half melted butter blob was deposited smack in the middle of the festivities.thank goodness mom in laws floor was wood, and it was easily cleaned up. I'm very glad it was not on carpet!
My GS and his black cat brother used to open every cupboard in the kitchen, and raid them, while I was at work. They both looked so innocent each time that I began to believe in poltergeists! But installed baby locks just st in case. 😹 They pouted for weeks.

When the German Shepherd came out in the police uniform, i just about lost it. I have an amazing 12 year old GSD, but we call her the Fun Police. If her cat brothers and sister are trying to play or get into any shenanigans, she comes along and breaks them up. No messing around on her watch. 😂
Nice work Jonny, all your characters are awesome. I can't wait for you to do a video on "Guilty Dogs!" showcasing various breeds. You know, revealing breeds expressing guilt for wrong doing in their various ways, e.g. hiding, doing the I'm sorry eyes, distracting with affection, pretending to be dead or sick etc.
Boxers are funny when they know they have done bad . They let you know by their guilty behavior then you just have to look for what they have actually done.
I love your videos! Quick tip - if you're trying to communicate a height difference when playing opposite yourself, camera angles are your friend. German Shepherd keeps "looking down", making it hard to see your eyes. If you position the camera lower and tilt it up, the audience takes the perspective of the smaller dogs. Hope to see many more videos like this from you in the future!

We have a similar story about my mother in law's dog, a stick of butter, and the aftermath, which was her barfing it back up in the middle of the living room while we were all opening gifts 😂 I will never forget the sound, she literally said "Retchhh" and a half melted butter blob was deposited smack in the middle of the festivities.thank goodness mom in laws floor was wood, and it was easily cleaned up. I'm very glad it was not on carpet!
My GS and his black cat brother used to open every cupboard in the kitchen, and raid them, while I was at work. They both looked so innocent each time that I began to believe in poltergeists! But installed baby locks just st in case. 😹 They pouted for weeks.
OMG!!!! You should be doing acting!!!
You are great!!!!
I know, Jonny is SO crazy-sick talented. But the one stipulation should be that the subject matter should always be dogs.
20 minute time out? That's harsh dude, they are beef treats after all 🤔
Don't forget he also didn't get to sleep with his mum that night either 😢
funniest thing for me in this sketch?
In germany we had a pretty popular series called "komissar Rex" translated "officer Rex" which revolved around a german shephard solving crimes with his human owner as a police officer
It aired also in the Netherlands, great series!
Currently running, set in Canada, with the name Hudson and Rex.
Congrats on your 500k subscribers!! So well deserved! It seems like yesterday I congratulated you on 100k subs. To quote a certain Rescue dog “I’m just happy to be here.”
My JRT used to be fit and always had the zoomies, but now he's old at 14, gain a lot of weight, going deaf and blind, but he can still hear the bag of treats. 🥰 I miss him now while he lives with my mom and I'm away doing school after watching this. 🥺
My JRT is also getting older, but he still gets the zoomies some days. He had them yesterday afternoon again and gave me a great giggle. They are so precious.
I only have to move the treat bag and *bamf* instant dogs
'THAT'S MY PERSONAL PRIVATE BUSINESS OK?!!!' 🤣🤣🤣
Ms. Pom has good taste
"that.....is my PERSONAL, PRIVATE BUSINESS" fookin killed me xD
glorious! i look forward to The Case of the Stolen Piece of a Toy I Was Given 6 Years Ago, The Mysterious Affair of the Owner Smelling Like Another Dog, and the Chiuaua who went up a Mountain and Came Down a St Bernard
"Mysterious" affair? Nope! The answer is Cheater!
The oversized police hat makes it funnier!
Edit: the comments are as good as the video, can't get enough of all your stories lol
MISSING TREATS?!?? NOOOOOOOO
You are as adorable as the pups you represent! Having several pups share their lives with me in my lifetime and being a mailperson (retired now) you nailed it! My favorite is the Border Collie.
Well well well. Look who isn’t living in a garage anymore and does long sketches now.
Great work!!!
I love this channel and I’ve never even owned a dog 😂. Keep up the great work!
You absolutely made my day. Thank you, love your channel.
When the German Shepherd came out in the police uniform, i just about lost it. I have an amazing 12 year old GSD, but we call her the Fun Police. If her cat brothers and sister are trying to play or get into any shenanigans, she comes along and breaks them up. No messing around on her watch. 😂
I knew it was the German Shepherd, from the get-go.
Those dogs are mean snackers.
LOL!
I was sure it had been the lab, who genuinely forgot he had been the who ate the treats. 😂
The picture of Pedro looking all fine "that's my personal private businneeesss" 😂😂😂🤣. 👀👌☠️☠️☠️
The best one yet! You kept me guessing until the end😅. Kudos to the canine Agatha Christie here.🎉
Nice work Jonny, all your characters are awesome.
Aww. I love that her hair isnt permed but it was the girliest thing he could think to shout.
I already loved dogs before I started watching you - now I love them twice as much!
Jack Russell's *"You're under the rest"* reference made me spew out my coffee. Brilliant! 😂
This is fantastic!!! My doggo loves watching your videos too. Love the Jack Russel, spot on!
Just came from my Chi's yearly check up at rhe Vet and his weight is up. Hmmmm, I wonder how that happened? 😂
Nah, that’s just water…. Stay hydrated is important 😇
He wasn’t allowed to sleep in mummy’s bed that night 😂
Hope you're well! My son made my whole workplace watch all of your videos on Friday. No one complained 😁
The way miss lady holds the purse 😂😂. But really, not getting to sleep with mom?! It was only a snackie or two!
It was time out for stealing the treats, and not sleeping with Mom for vomiting in a hard-to-clean place that may or may not have been Mom's bed
I think this is probably your best video yet!!! So hilarious! Especially the Pomeranian 😂😂
This is everything 😂, even includes the punishment 😂 can I replace this with regular cop shows
i have a german and a jack and how are you so on point?!?!
Hilarious! I love these! 😂😂
Pomeranian with her pink purse cracks me up- the gs interrogation tactics so spot on! Jonny, thx for the laughs! Congrats on 1M subs!!
This was brilliant! My mind needed this timeout. 😌
Hilarious, but we all know it would be the lab who ate them! And it wouldn’t even have to be actual food.
👏👏🤣🤣🤣
😂 Exactly!!
Yep. Leaves, rocks, dirt, tissues, socks, you name it! If they can physically get it down their gullet, they will.
The GS is on point...poor bay he did not deserve that harsh punishment. 😂❤😂❤
OMG, you have a gift, Jonny!
Excellent mystery! Suspenseful! Well done and hilarious! Looking forward to more videos!
The same exact picture of Pedro Pascal that I have as my phone wallpaper 🤣 1:00
This was hilarious, the GSD was detective,
I would have thought the Labrador Retriever was the culprit, who stole the treatos ??
The Detective !!, bad dog!!
😂❤❤🐕🐕
😂😂 Bruh this needs to be a series, this guy is hilarious.
Wonderful! Bravo! My favorite: “Exactly what I thought. And then I thought again. And then I thought ONE More time!”
Bostoonnnnn!!! 💪😍 I could swear that I saw you last summer playing basketball at North End, and then in East Cambridge. Is this possible? Or, you really have a doppelganger. 😅 Love all your videos, so extremely on point! 👌👏🤗
That's kinda a harsh sentence!😢😅
Pedro Pascal was such a funny little part. Bravo!!!
I have to say, after just recently discovering this channel, it has to be the most ingenious and hilarious set of video's ever put out there on the internet (with a shoutout to 'Pluto' who hilariously got us through Covid lockdown).
To know this is a Canadian made channel makes it even better. Every video makes me laugh! My favorite dog impression Jonny does is the chihuahua. Every time I see one of those sketchy little buggers now I see that impression...like a methed out Mexican Cartel dude. So funny.
I don't see any new video's out for the last 2 months. Would love to see more. This channel could easily reach the MILLIONS! Now's the time.
Free my boy, he did nothing wrong
Ms Pomeranian knows what's up.
He really nailed the German Shepard "looking down the nose at you" posture
And that's quite a long way to look! We used to nickname our shep/collie mix "banana nose." Don't misunderstand, though. We loved her.
The Sentence! 🤣 plus Pedro 👍🏼
I feel like it’s da chihuahua
He'd cut you for treats
Escalates in seconds from misdemeanor treat theft to “Top of the world!”
After seeing the purse contents, I've never identified so strongly with a Pomeranian 🤣
I was going to say if we're all going to pretend that pic wasn't there! 😂
Ha ha this is great! I laughed out loud. Keep them coming Johnny!
I keep coming to CZcams to listen to music but no I see your videos in my feed and shorts and no I can't resist clicking and no I don't regret it.
Cute purse
