@@annebruecks7381 the only one with an empty head is a lab owner who hasn’t trained them. Labs are amazingly intelligent. They are in the top 7 in obedience and working dogs in the world. They are chosen to be service dogs, guide dogs, bomb and drug detection dogs. They are in fact very easy to train due to their eagerness to please, friendly nature (and being very food driven doesn’t hurt either). Why someone wouldn’t at least do basic obedience with any dog is beyond me…but then again, look at all the kids that are out of control too. Admittedly labs are crazy puppies, I always say they are that cute for a reason…but given the proper basic training that any dog should get, they are fantastic adult dogs, eager to please and thrive off of having a job to do.
@@Jack-bi8mg They're working dogs so yes, very easy to train. They're very smart bois. I started training mine at 10 weeks old. Took half an hour to learn his first command, "sit". Dude your dog breed videos never fail to crack up my whole family. Thank you so much for making these videos. Whenever we’ve had a bad day, the whole family sits down and we watch them together. You are an absolute lifesaver and a genius comedian. Your take on dog breeds is always true to form as well as totally fitting of the breed. My whole family also super appreciates that you’re not targeting specific groups of people or attacking them, like so many comedians do for a laugh. Thank you for making such wonderful and funny content! PS I have a German Shepherd and a husky, your perspectives on both are always spot on!
Something that always got a laugh out of me when I was a shelter volunteer was people being surprised by Jack Russel Terriers making six foot vertical leaps for fun.
When I’m scooping kibble for mine he’ll jump like 3 feet in the air over and over again, hitting me with his two front paws because he’s so excited and wants me to hurry up.
Yes to all of these but as a beagle-owned human, that was on point. (You don't own beagles and while they give you unconditional love, they're part cat.)
Please do more of these with the different breeds in different scenarios. You're one of my favorite YTs to watch. Another one is Nikko Ortiz. He does the personalities of different military branches in scenarios. I would love to see you doing more of these. You bring happiness to my heart ❤
Fun and please add the photos of the breeds so that they can all be fun to those who don’t know some of the breeds. Plus you are shown as even more brilliant when you do so we can recognize how you are subtly projecting each different breed look! Thank you!

We used to take our Brittany on the sailboat. If a gull flew overhead, she'd dive off the boat after it. If you walked her out onto a dock over the water, she would just hurl herself off if there was a duck or something a mile out. Once she got out, and ran a B-line for 2 miles to the Irish bar in town. We got a call that she was there. When I went in to get her, there she was tied to the brass rail, having a blast with all the old Irishmen. What a nut that dog was!

The ultra-confident is spot on. Mine knows he's the man & we're his to protect 💙
A Great Pyrenees recently barked like mad at me just for passing him and his humans on a nature trail. Those folks are in good paws.
@@cassandra423 There’s a puppy pack of them in a pasture I drive by daily, and they never fail to go up in arms barking their heads off at me like wutttt did I do lol 😂
Atlas is such a cool name!
Lola is only half Pyrenees mixed with Red Heeler and she’s awesome guarding the homestead even though she’s only 8 month old. She’s still learning but nights she’s out there keeping it all safe.
lab is incredibly accurate. my old lab was so airheaded that he needed human instruction, every single time, to go up or down the steps he used multiple times a day for twelve years. still the goodest boy ever
I seriously don’t understand it. I’m on my second lab and they are incredibly smart. They’re one of the top breeds for guiding the visually impaired so they’d have to b.
Empty head and full heart. I love Labradors!!
@@reginafallangie2867 Labs are brilliant yes, but have you ever met one that isn't trained? They are giant dorks! I know, I have one that knows all the basic commands but just doesn't care. He only does what he wants to do when he wants to do it. Eventually he will most of the time get around to doing what you want him to do and yes it is as annoying as it sounds. He is also so outrageously funny ya just can't get mad at him! Some days I want to tear my hair out he makes me so crazy but he is the most amazing fun and loving dog ever and he can make me laugh no matter what he does. That's probably why he is such a brat. LOL he once jumped out of the car and laid down right in the drive thru lane at McDonald's because he was tired of riding in the car and he would not get up. Everyone was laughing and no one seemed to mind having to go to the other lane because he was not getting up or moving. He just does silly stuff like that and trust me, ya can't pick up a huge Labrador if they don't want you to!
@@reginafallangie2867 theyre really fast learners, but still have their stoopid moments
As an Aussie owner I can confirm. He's used to being center of attention and doesn't like it that we love the cat too.
Aussie owner here, the Aussie part is 100% accurate 😂
Are Aussies easy to train? Also are they good off lead?
@@Jack-bi8mg They're working dogs so yes, very easy to train. They're very smart bois. I started training mine at 10 weeks old. Took half an hour to learn his first command, "sit". Once he understood "OH! I do the thing = I get a treat", all other commands were a breeze. He learned lay down, paw, other paw, up, high five in a half hour (so total training time = 1 hour)
@@Em-ih5du do you have him off lead much?
@@Jack-bi8mg No, that's one thing I didn't train him for. People don't look kindly to dogs off leash here. But if you'd want to train yours for it, there shouldn't be a problem.

Fun facts: dog learning start with nose. While human start with ear...
Yes! They get so distracted easily but definitely one of the friendliest! Love em.
I love that the Mutts are getting some love too ♥️
The outfits and the energies just made this video a 11/10 for me. I laughed so hard, it literally (like, *literally* not figuratively) brought tears to my eyes.
The two Jack Russells I met were so energetic it blew my mind. They could jump so high! I’ve also never been licked so fast by any other dog.
Something that always got a laugh out of me when I was a shelter volunteer was people being surprised by Jack Russel Terriers making six foot vertical leaps for fun.
Those dogs are nothing but 13 to 18 lbs of pure muscles and energy.
When I’m scooping kibble for mine he’ll jump like 3 feet in the air over and over again, hitting me with his two front paws because he’s so excited and wants me to hurry up.
Miss my lil guy 😢 He made it to 16 and was a frenetic ball of energy until he got sick. So loyal, steadfast and affectionate. RIP my darling boy 🐾 💕
Yes to all of these but as a beagle-owned human, that was on point. (You don't own beagles and while they give you unconditional love, they're part cat.)
My Jack Russell will see you and match you. But he's a street rescue. Mine from day 1 at home.
So brilliant. Not just the words but he truly embodies the energy. I watch these regularly to lift my spirits ☺️
Please do more of these with the different breeds in different scenarios. You're one of my favorite YTs to watch. Another one is Nikko Ortiz. He does the personalities of different military branches in scenarios. I would love to see you doing more of these. You bring happiness to my heart ❤
Thnx for the heads up on Nikki.
I love Nikko! Marines is possibly my favorite, but I love them all lol
@@MystiDawn Marines is my favorite too 😉😏

Thank you for making this, the years I spent reading/memorizing the Simon & Schuster guide to dogs as a child has finally paid off.
I swear every time he does an Australian shepherd he captures mine perfectly.
Fun and please add the photos of the breeds so that they can all be fun to those who don’t know some of the breeds. Plus you are shown as even more brilliant when you do so we can recognize how you are subtly projecting each different breed look! Thank you!
These are hilarious! Need some American Eskimo for my puppy Hilo. He is my shadow. He suffers from selective smartness. He figured out how to open the patio screen door, but is so puzzled by the word No.
"... selective smartness" is my new favorite phrase. Thank you:)
I have a 4 1/2 month 50 odd pound malamute thats the same way... smartest dog I ever owned but stubborn as a mule😂
Oh my gosh that is our bunch to a T!!! They're part Eskimo, part jack russell and mostly border collie and that is the perfect description of their mentality!! "Selective smartness"😂
My dog thought his name was "No" for the first 7 months I had him. Beagle.
I have a staffy cross, he too suffers greatly from selective smartness 🤣
Having just adopted a whippet mix, this is painfully accurate.
What do you mean? Are they nervous/shy dogs?
@@ihurricane7 From what I’ve read, as a general rule, yes many of them are shy/have separation anxiety. My girl came from a shelter though, and we have no idea what happened to her, but I have a feeling she was abused. And the water thing is totally accurate- she drinks So much water, even more than the Husky I had in a very hot climate.
@@anjelica948 my cross whippet can drink for like to minutes no stop
My whippet cross is nervous too. I couldn’t help but think she was abused before I got her. But maybe nervousness is common in whippets
I know most dogs are people pleasers, but Brittanys are on a whole other level. My parents have them and they are the friendliest, outgoing dogs and happy as long their humans are. Spot on!
I had a Brittany Spaniel and he was always just so happy and go lucky. Nothing ever bothered him! He was hilarious and just went through life without a care in the world. I also got an Australian Shepherd that came with him, actually it was more the other way around lol, he was ALWAYS nervous lmao. But he had a look of nervous "this is fine. Everything is fine." (While the room was on fire) 🤣
Absolutely beautiful dogs. Great temperament. I'm walking one now and she's the sweetest baby. She can spot a still bird at 70 yards also, crazy girl!
@@annebruecks7381 My parents' Brittanys are the same. They catch wind of any bird, even a little dove at the far, far down the road and they immediately freeze into a point...well the older one does at least. The naughty puppy breaks her point half the time and barrels down the street at the bird.
@@feralscooter 🤣 So this baby girl, the one I'm walking, is only a little over a year right now, and they took her to the beach this past summer and she met some seagulls. They're pretty sure she was terrified of them because she didn't react like she does to songbirds! She ignored them So Hard 🤣
I love your interpretation of different breeds attitudes… And you’re easy on the eyes too so that helps.
Mutt is actually spot on, but I am speaking from experience because my dog has actually jumped out of a car. He thought they left me at the old house when we moved so he jumped out to come back for me. He rolled and came out completely uninjured.
You sir are delightful to watch thanks for the laugh on a long day!

The husky one is so true. My husky gets so mad and barks at the blanket if he can't find a spot 😭
Aw, crying when alone too long is so sad 🥺 but it's not the worst outcome; My friends (a married couple) have a Mastiff that basically ATE their couch when they took took too long coming back from errands 😂
You know that Johnny is my 3rd cousin
My dog was the same when she was younger. I have a mutt and she's very sweet but also very anxious and she used to chew up my furniture even if she was left alone for only a couple of minutes. So glad she was able to overcome her Separation anxiety. :D
I have a Dogue de Bordeaux mix and I've been there.
and I still am, right now: on the munched couch, with my oversize pup 😆
my Astro (a rescue from a bad neglect situation) overcame his separation anxiety a few years ago, thanks to the proper training and his innate laziness (panic attacks are a hell of a workout... why eating the couch when you can nap all afternoon on it?) ❤

Late, but props to this man for changing clothes for EVERY dog!! Some people wouldn''t bother.
yeah that's my jack russle in a nutshell. he loved swimming, like we are talking about 5 hours a day at least. during the warmer months, if he escaped, it was easy cause he'd just run and jump into the pool. trying to get him out was interesting. luckily we had an above ground pool to hide behind and pull him out. we brought him to the vet once and the vet just looked at his leg muscles and was like "holy cow he's ripped." ye. he likes to swim.

I think you just gave me a new character idea, A German Shepherd Mafia Mob Boss, that sounds scary. And given how they're used as police dogs, it doesn't have a difference.
Very accurate. Years ago I had a female GSD, and we fostered other dogs. At one point due to emergency circumstances, we had 2 un cut males for a weekend. I had to shuffle them between rooms and yard. At one point after doing the shuffle, my GSD stopped me in the hall and barked at me for a good 30 seconds straight. All I could say, was"You're completely right, and I promise I will never do this again."
