He is classically trained and has some of the most remarkable vocal range and ability. Worth listening to his cover of Sound of Silence.
I love this song, I have two siblings that lost children at 20 & 21 years old...and I do what I can to keep their memories alive! I did a painting for my niece that passed from Sepsis at 20 years young. I painted an unfinished garden, and I told my brother that whenever their older daughter had friends over to please leave a note to her...and to paste it on the painting to remember her.
The nephew had been injured ( broken arm & shoulder ) in a skiing accident, and evidently took an accidental overdose of Oxycontin.
"I remember Nathan, Amanda, my father George, my Grandmothers, Naomi, & Frances, Grandfathers Roy & George...my Aunts and Uncles....I remember them all! "

A beautiful song. Lead singer David Draiman was inspired to create by the passing of several of his rock colleagues and also his grandmother. His voice is very unique and touching. Such a talented singer! Thank you for your heartfelt reaction, Hap! 💜🎵 a lovely request, Amy!!
As someone who's mom's birthday just went by.....the 25th without her......this song hit home. Also coming up on 7 yrs without my dad.....so yeah. Memories.

Not what I would expect to hear from this group, but that's what makes it so special to me. That was wonderful. What a great message and conveyed so soulfully with David's amazing vocals. I know this group from their cover of the song “The Sound Of Silence” and your reaction to that was amazing as well. Thank you again Hap, lost my older brother in 2020 unexpectedly. He was so young. Just found out yesterday that my mom only has months....so I have so many memories ....

I believe this is the studio version of the song just laid over visual clips of multiple live performances vs a recording of a single live performance, if that makes sense? You can see his lips don't align perfectly with the words.

This is such a great song! The official video is way better, though. I mean, David sounds great on both, but the official video just really drives the message home. Rest I peace, Scott(27 forever on 7/6/94) and Jeff(7/7/23; 55).
