On August the 5 last year my dad had passed away. This song, together with "Indestructible (which is my personal anthem)," The Light " and" A Reason to Fight" had helped me go over grief and pain and move on.
A great, empowering song, that will always stay in my soul.

Saw them live in Oct. They did this song. Literally the best concert I have been to.

Love this song too! David has such a unique voice! Even his speaking voice (see any of his interviews) will make you stop to listen. I've always been a fan of the ballads, in fact it was looking up Simon and Garfunkel ... an old favorite group from my school days, that lead to me Disturbed ... and my first intro to metal. Still testing the metal music waters but have come to love everything by Disturbed. Some of my favorite more metal Disturbed songs that you might like to review are Inside the fire, Asylum, The Animal ... these are best from the official videos. Also, Ten Thousand Fists, The Game, Down with the Sickness all from the 2008 Rock AM Ring concert. Any or all would be fun reviews. :)

you might want to check out Stone Sour. They do Hard Rock/Metal and have a lot of amazing ballads as well. I can imagine, you'd like them as much as I do.
Caiilinka I've listened to Cory Taylor do some acoustic pieces that I liked very much but don't recall if he was singing with stonesour/slipknot or just solo. I've also come to enjoy Five finger death punch a lot! Love Ivan's vocals! 😊

Subscribed. Thank you. Don't know if you've looked at it yet, but I found it helpful to read the Wikipedia page on David Draiman...his history and training. It might not be 100% correct, but still helpful....quite an interesting history and meaning behind those uplifting and compassionate lyrics.
