Mandy's dad is the sweetest, and that little interaction between him and Mandy to make it happen him walking her down the aisle made me tear up. It's just sad that he lacks assertiveness with his wife. I appreciate that he stands up for Mandy sometimes. I also love the bromance between him and George as well as Georgie.

@Mrsadlerfan to a german or European in generel, that so weird. Drinking/buying beer/wine is legal at 16, at 14 if you are with your parents and they allow it. For other types of alcohol you have to be 18. So him being able to drive and run a buisness and get married but not drink is weird or unlogical to me

They're not poor. They can afford a house and they have no trouble paying bills. They're poor compared the McCalisters or compared to what the male Coopers will be when they grow up, but millions of families would love to have what the Coopers have. For example, everyone in 2nd world ands 3rd world countries.

Meemaw's boyfriend is already under the thumb. Meemaw agreed to taking CC over the honeymoon period. When her boyfriend asked if he had a say as they were both living in his house, he was bluntly told that he did not have a say.
In the end he missed having someone in, and cece liked him.

My heart breaks knowing the two dads found a lifelong bromance partner, but one of those lives is essentially living on borrowed time. George didn't seem to have much in temrs of friends other than Wayne, who couldn't empathize with George's child raising woes. Jim was too kind of a man to not be whipped. They were compatible beyond anything they ever knew or saw. And it will all be taken away from them in matter of months.
Conclusion? Meema shouldn't have fattened his SIL with all those miracle briskets‼️ (j/k)😭😭😭
"I agree with you about the guys, but I kindly disagree with the conclusion. It's everyone's personal decision to choose their own lifestyle. Although Meemaw did make the briskets, it was George who ate them. By the way, since those briskets were not a daily occurrence, I would take into account chips and beer much more. I rarely see vegetables on the table when the Coopers have dinner. Also, the lack of exercise is a concern. As a football coach, George should be in better shape. He should have been able to easily run down the hallway without choking halfway."

Hey - the two Dads were great. Georgie and Mandy's Dad actually got on really well. It was the Mothers that created the issues. Every time Georgie and Mandy's Father started spending time together enjoying each others company, Mandy's Mother would walk in and they had to go their separate ways.
I legit cried during this scene brought me tears of happiness

Why do all shows insist on having some sort of fast, dramatic, and informal wedding like this? It’s never just a simple and happy occasion, there always has to be some drama around the wedding. Just once it would be nice to show a traditional one.

i agree, this wedding was disappointing. i don’t think mandy has ever actually said “i love you” other than “a thousand bucks a day, you bet i love you” like this wedding could’ve been so much better, instead it was boring just like the rest of their relationship and their wedding was all about the moms drama

I live in Tulsa oklahoma there was one in down tulsa. It was very difficult to get to. Thre downtown tulsa streets are very difficult to navigate.

1. Both parents have 2 kids, a boy and a girl.
2. In both families, the male members are quite likeable and the female members are not.
3. Both dads were basically controlled by both moms.
4. Both boys are likeable dimwits
5. Both girls are bullies. Probably because they can't do anything else.
6. Both dads owned a car-related business
7. Both dads were great mentors to Georgie. They are the 2 reasons that he became the man that he became.
And now on top of all of that:

@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xlI wouldn’t say Jim is a dimwit, but yeah pretty spot on. That’s really how a lot of sit com families are. The type A, strong, aggressive wife, and goofy, happy go lucky, dumb husband is a very common trope. Malcom in the middle is a good example too.
