GUH is a major acute hospital in the West of Ireland. We are a centre of excellence in Stroke, Cardiac, Vascular, Orthopedic and Oncology imaging. Our modalities include CT, MRI, IR, US, Mammography, Cardiac and Dental CBCT. We also recently installed the first Hybrid Vascular Theatre in Ireland. Community diagnostics and new state-of-the-art ED and Oncology Centres are at the planning stage. In 2018 the IIRRT recognised GUH as the Radiology Department of the Year.
