spiers, the reason that they don't let go and are so brutal is because the spikes aren't just spikes, they are nodegrabbers; they crab the collision nodes (like when u use control and drag objects around) as the tires pass over them
Speirs, the car pull thingy Neede to be attached to a car and then put the handbrake on so the platform comes up, then drive a car on top of it and be sure the wheels are on the platform, then get the handbrake of and the platform goes down, then you can drive
Just in case you didn't know, Clarkson, Mays and Hammond have a new show out on Amazon Prime called The Grand Tour. It's basically a Top Gear reboot without the BBC rules so Clarkson is free to pleasure a horse (s1e1 joke) if he wants.

I actually have a story about a super close up police chase. Here’s the story: So me and my family were going to the Galveston island for a little vacation, and we were in like Houston, and a 1996 mustang gt came flying by us in that little emergency lane, at like 110 mph. The cops were right behind us, and they were just blasting their horns at all of the people on the highway. And we saw one or two cops floorin it in the emergency lane. By the time they past us, the mustang, along with them, were gone. And I mean gone. So we got a little bit farther up on the highway, and we saw three MESSED UP cars (probably got hit by the mustang, but all of the people were completely fine). Then a couple more cops came through, but they were WAY late. Then a little later, (this is not about the police chase, but instead a different thing we saw on the way to Galveston) we saw a whole gang of bloods in there pimped out cars just swerving through the highway, probably at about like 30/40 mph. That was just a scary thing. So we exited and finally got to Galveston. (Also, I saw a lambo and a mcLaren in Galveston, two of the four of my favorite car brands in the world). That’s my story.

In the UK our spike strips are strips with spikes facing straight up so they can get the suspect without worrying about putting them the right way.
