Same it was a powerful night of Ritual Work. But peaceful. She revealed alot....
Historically speaking, Celtic lands would have been Christian by the dawn of the medieval era and throughout the period. Traditionally Samhain coincided with solar and lunar events and marked the end of the harvest and beginning of the dark months of winter. It was regarded as the season when the veil that separated the world of the living from the world of the dead was at it's thinnest state, allowing the living sensations or glimpses of those from past generations. When the Christian Feast of All Saints was was attached to it by Rome it became a fixed calendar date of October 31st, or the Eve of All Hallows, from which the word Halloween is derived.
Lord and Lady, we come to you on this sacred night to honor those who are with us and to honor those who have passed on. This ritual is to keep away evil spirits and negative energy. We hope you hear our prayer and guide us on this sacred journey for many years to come. We also call on the Gods and Goddesses, Mother Earth, Father Sun, Crone, Silver Lady f the Golden moon and Horned God protector of all living things, we also seek our guidance in this sacred ritual.
So Mote It Be!
Lords and Ladies we thank you for your presence during this special time this sacred night, thank you for protecting this sacred place. We also call the Gods, Goddesses, Mother Earth, Father Sun, Crone, Sliver Lady of the golden moon and Horned God protector of all living things. Just letting you know I am enjoying the music as our Spring is a bit late this year...Still lots of snow on the ground and looking forward to being in Nature once again! Celebrating Anscestors is always a good thing anytime of the year. However, on this night, I can only light a small fire but call in my Anscestors for a Feast I prepare in honor of them! I can say that one Samhain, was especially Special as Family and Spirit showed up in the most Magical and Beautiful Way!!! Stars were literally bursting in my living room right out of my Crystal Ball. This was the most amazing thing to ever happen in a ritual on this night and I felt truly Blessed!!! Blessed Be, and So It Is~
