Post Vinyl I was worried about them sounding live but they’re fine
Some of the songs don't really sounds good live, in my opinion of course, and even worse in festivals
João Silva it depends for me. Like with how beautiful his last two albums have been, he and his band have to be in the right mood for them to be good live. Everything pre-this old dog era he can fuck around with live

This record needs more time . Old dog is great also but different
For how much they act like a ramshackle crew every musician is top notch. They are super tight and recreate the feel of the album.
Macs guitar tone is superb

@Daniel Doran he acts that way but he is not that great compared to real good bands like sweet smoke that just play unplanned and communicate telepathic through they're intrumenta

Mac is a super underrated guitarist. He's not a virtuoso player but he's able to add feel into everything he plays and is pretty effortless.
The feels are off the charts. Which is the only thing that counts

Saw them live in Austin this tour. Blew my mind! Can’t wait to see them again. The live version of All of Our Yesterdays is the best version imo.
thing is, Mac is a great songwriter, but the gift that sits at the top of his pyramid is in creating really special moments between the songs he writes and the people listening.
They sound excellent live. Great tone and mixing for sure too!

It’s def pretty slow that the last few albums. But it seems like this is the direction that he wants his music to go In . And I gotta say, I respect the guy for it. Just as long as he’s doing him.
I don't know if I'm diggin' the new direction, but 🤷🏿♂️ only time will tell.
I hated it at first but the more I listened to it, i slowly started to fall in love with it.

Yeah, watching it live gave me a clearer and better perspective on the new album. At first, I felt neutral, but now I can see why I'm loving it.
at some points, not only in this live performance, you can see how those guys transcend to another dimension while playing. so good

Alex Raia it’s weird how boring and un-mac Demarco the album sounds. Interestingly enough, listening to little dogs March the tone and lyrics seem to suggest it’s all intentional. Maybe I’m reading into it, but I imagine he wanted to make it boring just causs

Just saw them live for the first time. Was amused how a show based around mostly chill music ends up with mosh pits and stage diving by the end.
I don’t think I’ve listened to the album more than once. But live it sounds great. The album was made to be played live and imo should’ve just been recorded live in the first place, good stuff
