    I love your tutorials for its information but more importantly, the delivery of the information. Very fun, light, goofy at times, but always helpful. So thank you.
    Could you discuss in a future episode how you "feel" when a shoot is approaching? Meaning are you nervous, anxious, zen-like, scared shitless? Do you or have you ever felt discouraged or overwhelmed with a project? Lack of confidence in yourself?
    Thank you.

    Oh my God, thank you for these videos. I like how you do your "Photographing Model..." videos. Also, with this video it was great to see you allowing that person pass through your shot. Again thank you for these.

    Thank you so much for these episodes, Alexi. It can be so difficult trying to garner this information if one does not have friends in the business. You do not have to do these tutorials but I pray you continue to!
    Would love to see an episode about negotiating rates with clients and especially estimating fees like travel. Also gauging how to charge; whether it be by the job, by the hour, per photo, for usage etc. Thanks again!

    Love the videos. They are so insightful. I am a photographer in LA and moving to NYC in a few weeks. Would love to see a tutorial on how to find success and how to navigate the fashion / photo world in NYC. Also would love to grab a coffee or a drink sometime if you ever have a spare hour. Thanks.

    Great video! I think it would be great to see more of your behind the scenes or some b-roll during a shoot. More of you doing your thing.

    Would so love to see you do one on Creative Direction or how you would like a creative director to work and the different creative directors styles you have worked with! Hope we get to work again together one day. You so make me laugh!

    Waiting for the "Postproduction!")
    How do you cooperate with retouchers, do you work on distance?
    Is it real to work for free for you as the most junior retoucher? :)

    Dear Mr. Lumbroski,
    How do you decide which format to use on a shoot? In your behind the scenes footage I’ve seen you sporting the Canon High End DSLR’s like the 5D and the the Mark 1D, (which versions I have no idea?)..., on occasion I’ve seen you spirt the latest digi Hassy’s... how do you decide which is best suited for a shoot... I’ve seen some commercial photogs use both. I almost forgot, have you ever used any offerings by Phase-One? Great tutorials btw; thanks...

    great video! I've always been curious about post-production. is that something you like to do with your own team or are there retouchers on call?

    When agencies or designers book the photographer, they might tell a lump sum budget to the photographer and the photographer has to manage everything right ?

  • @taco_enthusiast
    @taco_enthusiast Před 8 lety

    My wife runs her own still photo production company www.sksproductions.com. Some of the things she has to manage are insane - cast a sumo wrestler in NYC, rent "pretty" donkeys at the Grand Canyon because the client didn't like the original donkeys, "bribe" the parks department with free weed wackers to approve permits to shoot the Wonder Wheel, literally herd cats.

      I will do that. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. What I like about your channel its not just technical. Anybody can teach you how to press a button. You have 12 years old giving photoshop tutorial on CZcams. You are such an inspiration.
