There's truth in what you're saying but on those nano tanks it will last for a while and refilling the cylinder is not that expensive.

In my opinion, yes. For those 4 aquariums, even if I have to refill the cylinder 4 times faster than with 4 co2 sets I still save a lot of money from the initial setup.
