Looking at Labrynth of the Silver Castle for the first time, even before her effects or any of the other cards in the archetype were revealed, the sheer amount of gremlin energy she possessed immediately let me know "Oh yeah, she's gonna be at the center of some _really_ annoying decks, isn't she?" I'm glad to see that my first impression was correct.
That she already had fanart of her within mere days of her being revealed is telling.

This girl, and this archetype in general, is such gremlin energy with Lair of Darkness/Virus cards.

The little knights in the artwork of Labrynth Barrage will probably be a monster card one day.
Wonder if it will be a fusion a la eldlich.
Considering that is the so called MC hero of the story, would be funny if it was a joan or arc reference since we need more of her.

The question would be if you could mash both archetypes together and make a better deck out of it? I'm running Traptrix-Amazement and Traptrix-Dogmatika and I feel it's more consistent than just pure Traptrix.

Worth noting that Arianne has some (very on theme for this channel right now) potential in RESONATORS.
You can ditch the on theme traps such as Red Reign or The Great Soul (and get their grave effects online later that turn) while summoning Crimson Resonator from the deck.
I'm sooo building this deck. Normal trap cards have such an extensive lineup that you can cater to so many options
I wouldn't mind having those cards too my friend.

I didn't know this archetype existed until just now, and as an unchained player all I can see is Unchained Labrynth in my future
A trap that I don't see anyone mention is non aggression zone it can be activated during your standby phase and if activated your opponent cannot special normal or set a monster, if you can resolve this card you can stall your opponent out to death by continuously looping this card and just beating them down

@@type00haken11 if course it's a bit slow because you need to activate it during your standby meaning it needs to survive one turn where your opponent can summon monster, of course I think this deck has enough interruption to protect this card until your next turn which basically win you the game
This card would be very useful in a long term matchup but needing it survive 1 turn before its able to proc means that its very hard to set it up properly aside from Lord of Heavenly Prison protection and/or set at the end phase, which also means 1 turns of opponent being able to properly OTK Labrynth player on turn 2/3
I like how we get trap focused deck themes so yugioh uses all kind of cards again
Ever since it was first revealed, all I could think about this archetype was "Thank God, I don't need to run a hyper specific 2-card combo to get a lilith effect resolving turn 1 in Lair of Darkness"

Oh gosh I love the art and the whole thematic looks so funny xD I hope they're not super expensive because I'll definitely want to give them a try in paper!
I'm just glad that Labrynths have an archfiend for my Archfiend deck, the new archfiend glitch trap is just gravy. Also want to point out that Fairwelcome Labrynth isn't a "once per turn" only trap.

When I first heard of this archetype, the first thing that came to mind was the labyrinth cards that the paradox brothers used in the original anime. Why? I do not know.

I’m planning on playing a punishment extra deck - it gives access to some really good grave effects, especially now with Fossil Machine Skull Wagon in GFTP2
I just realized this now, but this was released on my birthday two weeks ago. This was a pretty interesting video for a elated birthday present. Great video as always and I can't wait you see what you cover next. Perhaps maybe the Dragon Rulers if you haven't done them already?
So I have been playing around the deck a bit with Branded and it has had some good success against the adventure deck if you get the branded fusion out before the restriction and know how which fusion monster and timing works best
This is a fun deck. I used to play "Fire-Fist" decks back in the day and I found them fun because of all the options you had. This deck is similar to that but has beautiful ladies to boot! Thx for the content GNY.
I have been using Silver Labrynth quite a bit in Master Duel. I love the aesthetic of light color palette demons, and it's a fun deck to use.
Protip: Slot in a copy or two of Performapal Five-Rainbow Magician. It's pendulum effect sets a field wide effect that changes depending on how many set cards both sides have.
If you've got none, your monsters can't attack or use their effects. If you've got four and Magician, all your monsters Atk doubles.
Full Force Virus is hilarious in this deck. Stovie Torbie and Arianna are free tributes for it and it triggers all of your effects.
I'm just in love with EVERYTHING coming out of this set. I might try to buy a box or two when they release, they're SO GOOD

i like it, trying to make it competitive as possible, i think the trap overroot is gonna be really good, heavenly prison and dark sacrifice are amazing and with the right tech could win games
Not even from a Live Twin/Unchained player, I am excited for silver castle, and the rest of the archetype too, I guess.
From Master Duel but if I'm going into physical cards I plan to play either unchained live twin or pure live twin. This would be amazing to play.

It was nice to see you do its new archetypes beside having cute demon waifu i was suprsied to see a video they can bring out a barrier statue so yeah sad to see no mention of lilith lady of lament to help out more traps

Ok so, you can also slot in a small Judgment of the pharaoh + Unity package.
It introduces 1 brick, that is unity, but if you get it to the graveyard by any means, then search the non-labrynth Judgment of the pharaoh, you can blank your opponent's turn.
Since you already probably want Foolish Burial Of Goods in the deck, Id say this is a very good 2 card package that gives you a win button at possibly the lowest cost available.
How to solve the brick issue: Magical Hats
The Labrynth deck combines Beauty and the Beast and Carmella myth and the result is great.
Sweet Yugioh jesus I need that Jack video in an unhealthy way.
While the Deck is lovely, it has two small problems:
*1)* They have a hard time fighting Super-Boss Monster (Like Dragoon, Phoenix D. or Ultimate Falcon). Since, its main style is destroy or target.
*2)* Lightning Storm, Harpie F. and Evenly M. are his ultimate enemies. Since they fail in negations or backrow protections. Cleaning at the right time can give them a bad time.
Their main trick is to stop all starting pieces, because when they face a Red-Eyes Fusion, Branded Fusion, -Spaghetti Fusion- or Destiny Fusion. It will be GG
Still, the Deck looks super fun. It always generates resources, it's not limited to archetype traps and its design just made me fall in love.
Play Lair of Darkness and tribute traps. Problem solved for opponent bosses.
Back then I would agree and say play IDP with lovely labrynth on the field, now it's still good, but with the current format we have to wait still
I play Amazement in master duel, and I can not wait for this deck to come out, both in MD and IRL. I will probably buy cards if it does
Some of the cards are pricey and will go down. I play Amazement IRL. I can see some cards going into the deck. Altergeist looks the most promising and then Lair

Unchained Abomination is such a funny card: three times basically the same effect, if X happens, target a card on the field: destroy it.
Eradicator virus + barrage is one of the goofiest things you can do with the deck

I Personally Run this with Infernoids, Arianne search out Dechatron, dechatron sends either lvl 1(Primais), 2(Antra), 3(Harmadik) to the Gr, Get their Pop effect and Pop something, Then you can synchro Summon, If you go with the lvl 3 Infernoid tthen you have 2lvl 4s and can go into Like Gallant granite and search for lord of the heavenly prison for backrow protection. I Feel its pretty Nice.
Labrynth may go fairly well with magical musketeers as well.
I'm trying to get back into the TCG because of Master Duel, would this archetype work with the Lair of Darkness cards? LoD hasn't been doing much for me, but maybe it's because I'm still running viruses?
I dont think tributing my opponents monsters through LoD wouldn't trigger these labyrnth cards.
The effects will be triggered when a monsters are removed by EFFECTS, not cost. However, Viruses can still work. You're still summoning monsters with stats that fulfill conditions for most Virus cards and those normal traps do remove monsters via effect, triggering Labrynth cards.
I think LoD variant is very interesting, if for nothing more than Arianne being able to grab Lilith directly from the deck...

Something I wonder is if it was truly necessary to differentiate Labrynth to Labyrinth. Was any Labyrinth card good enough to mix or where they just doing it by inertia.
Another silly tech pick the viability of which may not be obvious: Chain Strike and Accumulated Fortune.
With the graveyard effects of the furniture and the trigger effects of the field spell, the maids, and the lady, you can easily reach chain link 6 which makes Chain Strike burn for 2800. (You have no means of recycling it but doing it once can make it a lot easier to put lethal damage on board.)
Under these conditions, Accumulated Fortune (unlike Pot of Greed) is self-explanatory.
This Archetype is giving me heavy 'Ghostrick' vibes, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing

Welp you just convinced me to play Labyrinth on Master Duel now. I wasn’t particularly excited at first (other than their artwork- I like that) but now I’m actually excited. Unchained Labyrinth here I come! I was always interested in Unchained anyways.

The lady of lament archetype is great with this deck
14:16 yeah and I don’t know which is worst when it’s got somebody or when it didn’t cause when it did then you got to clean up the mess but when it doesn’t you feel like you wasted all that time and effort on nothing.
I have made a deck using this archetype and lemme tell you it got people annoyed due to silver castle and the field spell popping cards lol. However its weakness is backrow removal so I used starlight road to prevent harpie feather duster

Do you know how LABYRINTH WALL SHADOW field works after placing Sanga of the thunder, Kazejin or Suijin. What is the purpose of placing them in your Spell/Trap zones
the new fusions can banish Sanga, Kazejin and Suijin from the spell/trap zone that are placed by Labyrinth Wall Shadow and the Tank.
PS : Labyrinth are not related to Labrynth, they're two completely separate archetypes
