Finding one’s inner mission and connecting with your spiritual self is a recurring theme on this show. There comes a time in life that compels you to be stale --- to hear the voice within and find divine balance and connectivity. I’m basically talking about self-attunement and mindfulness.
For many years Catherine Ann Jones has championed others to find their Dharma. She also willingly surrender to her spiritual path and continues to help others on their journeys through workshops, consulting, writing, and other spiritual interventions.
Catherine is an award-winning playwright, screenwriter, actor, and author. She’s written six books, and countless plays and scripts for Broadway, film, and TV.
Following her parallel passions for truth-seeking and dramatic self-expression helped her take a spiritual visit to India in her 20s in search of answers to her life questions.
It is my feeling that some stories already exist in the ether, and my job is simply to bring them down to the gross level. The best times are when I seem to disappear altogether and the story writes itself. It passes through me, but is not really mine - a kind of visitation if you will.” - Catherine Ann Jones
In 2013, Catherine's latest book, Heal Your Self With Writing was published.
The book is also about self-healing, grief, and trauma --- a theme she expertly illustrates in the book along with anecdotes, from my own journey.
Our lives may be determined less by past events than by the way we remember them. How do we learn to listen more to the stories that heal? How do we put together the pieces of our past? How can we rewrite our life story so that pain becomes meaningful and actually promotes growth and transformation? Heal Your Self with Writing offers a step-by-step journey of discovery and re-visioning through focused journaling, a practice that can enable healing and empowerment. In this way, each reader is able to make meaning out of memory and put the past where it belongs - behind them.
Catherine also developed exercises and writing workshops inspired by the 'Heal Your Self With Writing' book to assist, what she calls, the coming home exercise.
There are definitely forces of things (good or bad) that occur in your life that leave you bewildered. But evidently, you come to understand that it is part of a process to discover yourself. Which are the summary of Catherine’s life and impact.

I hear you sister! I raised 2 boys which are 17 years apart and for both of them, I thought the right thing to do was to rush in and fix their problems. Finally, I have learned to just be there, listen and give emotional support when needed or should I say wanted

This is a genuine advice for the host- you can improve your channel by not trying to take the center stage and promote yourself all the time by sharing your life experiences. It is not about you. Let those fascinating people talk and tell their stories. And do not interrupt. Your level of consciousness does not offer any insight or quality to these videos but is a mere distraction to what your guests are communicating. This is not to offend you, but to hopefully help you be better at what you do.
This is very negative. This is his podcast not yours and he seems to be doing a damn good job of it. He is just bouncing info off with his guests like is talking to a friend, each podcast is a different person/friend. Sorry but this did not seem like friendly advice. Start your own show. J

Almost everything u said is great but at 30:00 u said that there is no God concept in Hindu philosophy is wrong. Shrimad Bhagwad Gita is a teaching given by God(Shri Krishna) himself. Please read it for more clarity.
I have to say that the Hindu faith seems to have many sects within and it seems they differ. I have friends in Indian born into the faith and even they all say that it is really hard to define it one way and grasp it. Not all believe in reincarnation. Some say the dieties are all different aspects of God, others say they are different lifetimes of God. So?
