REAL AdvanBlack review. Bags, lower fairing, speaker pods, mid frame deflector, and fender extension

Save your money and BUY OEM when you can!
Paint isn’t right on any of them. Fitment isn’t either.
Didn’t mention in the video but even the extended bags don’t line up quite right with Harley lids. You can make them work but forget about opening and re latching while on the bike.
Thanks for the great info you have in the video and also the follow up comments. Been looking at getting the lowers for my Road King in Mysterious Red Sunglo, kind of hesitant now.
Tom Zarifis I totally would. Once they got the color right the quality was on point and the customer service is bar none.

Dude I got the same issue with my fender so they wanted pictures but I tried to explain to them it's hard to see in the picture and I got nowhere
I ordered a set of mid frame deflectors .and they came straight from china..and had damaged paint.not to happy about that..now I got to go through the whole replacement process..
jaymacman did you go through the vendor or the actual manufacturer?
What was your experience? Mine was that the manufacturer (advanblack) bent over backwards to make things right. Free replacement, expedited shipping. But that was also before COVID-19.
@@brandonmerenda4453 got from the manufacture.. i sent them pictures and the reply so far was" please get some tuchup pant and try to fix it" I should not have to try and fix something thats new...so far not so good...see what happens from here..

Hey Brandon I have advanblack lowers just ordered boom Audio 2 Sam sent me the spacer rings is that going to work with the speakers for boom audio 2?
Based on the sample rings I had and the speakers I had (boom stage 2), yes
Can you use some kind of shim in the speaker pod so you can bolt down the stage 2 speaker? Maybe some kind of rubber shim between the pod and the speaker.
Paul Robles you could but if you check out my follow up videos, you’ll hear that advanblack has since made a spacer which will work.
The spacer is about a half inch thick and bolts into the hole in the advanblack pod and then you can bolt the boom 2 speakers to it.
I ended up getting a deal on the Harley lowers in the midst of all this since it’s a pending obsolete part.

Paul Robles I just checked and looks like I took stills instead of a video on the spacers but I have photos. My apologies on that, busy weekend.
I’m not surprised if they don’t list the part separate but if they’re not included for some reason I’m sure AdvanBlack will send you a set or I have the test set they sent me still.
If you want to drop me your email I’ll send you the stills so you can see but I lined them up.
They were really great about returns and exchanges too. I returned the lowers and exchanged everything else.

That is a hard paint to match but they say they can do it so I would go for your money back I tried ordering a vivid black lower faring never got a tracking number had to do a bank dispute to get my money back I was in contact before I realized that I haven’t received a tracking number when I started started asking about my tracking number the return email stopped and the phone Communication stopped Strange oh well
The color is totally different. Advan Black is in China, they don't even know much about HD stock colors.
Kyle Crawford if you check my follow up videos they did get it right eventually. Legit it looked like they missed a layer of flake. The bike looks amazing now with the replacement bags, mid frame deflectors, and extended fender trim.

Kyle Crawford yea after the videos went up AdvanBlack contacted me direct and went above and beyond to make it right. While initial quality may have been sketchy they’ve since corrected it I believe.
And yet u kept ordering from Advanblack over and over and over? Sounds like ur fault not theirs. Should've went to Hogworkz.
Michael Cooper they made it right. I didn’t have to pay for replacements due to the paint being off. Customer service was A+ and I’d buy from them again except I have a CVO now.
Advanblack is cheap not anything near Harley Davidson quality.
4 parts from 3 different suppliers? But all from Advan black, what a joke.
Kyle Crawford looks like all the distributors just re order. Nobody actually stocked the parts.
@@brandonmerenda4453 Some of them on eBay are in stock ready to go but not sure.
Kyle Crawford maybe the more common colors but even still everything shipped direct from AdvanBlack regardless of which vendor.
