That's a brilliant way to practice autos!!! Thank you so much! I'm right at that beginner auto learning mode and feeling a bit overwhelmed with ESC setup and Auto Bailout setup.
You're very welcome Sasha 🙂 Thank you so much for your feedback. I readily have to get a second camera mounted showing the sticks. I have been flying helis for 13 years, I will try to make more videos giving easy and simple tips. 🚁 fly safe buddy :)
Nice idea, never thought of using relatively high headspeed of 1300 on a 700 to practice auto's . Maybe you can explain your stickmovement of pitch and speed-up so quick in a next video (I seem to give too much pitch and too soon...). Thanks in advance
1300 high speed? My align 700 is about 1800, 2000, 2200. My 760 is about 1600, 1750, 1900. I never tried to run either at a lower speed, not sure I would want too. I have had my 500 as high as 3200...
I have issues with getting my overspeed rpm up, I think I'm flaring wrong, I have the approach but I don't get that pop sound, I think at the end of my overspeed I'm doing the colective wrong any tips would be great
I think you should be brave and have more courage to move the sticks. You should not crash as soon the heli can hover on the low rpm you set, take your time and don't worry stay relaxed. Dive faster = more air = more rpm
@@flyblood2045 so dive at neutral colective, then what about the emd of the dive, done just level the disc at neutral collect? I'm more intrasted in the collective during the dive, a d at rhe fare
@@jcoffmanrc222 you will need some negative during the dive, it doesn't take much only -2 to -3 degrees. Just try it and use your feelings. You have to flair the heli backwards as you approach and introduce negative pitch. During the dive it should feel like normal flying nothing special.
Okay I can do that part it's when I transition to up right from to inverted, should be zero collective as I roll over correct, but I don't get that pop, when I try to get that pop of speed I loose headspeed after the transition, I'll have to play around with the sticks to see what's going on
@@very9000 I have not, from what I know it's an improved scorpion software that works very well. But the v-bar gov is a proactive response, it knows your cyclic input and tells the motor to add power before losing rpm. Vbar gov is superior to esc gov. Try both see for yourself, pick what you like.
When I start the dive from up high I am between +1 to +3 pitch, depending on how steep I am diving. At the beginning of the dive I am trying to increase the speed of the heli diving. Around halfway through the dive I gradually start pulling on the cyclic stick backwards and increasing pitch at the same time. At the end of the auto before flipping the heli upright, my my pitch will be between +7 to +9 degrees.
If you add too much pitch early in the dive you will loose headspeed. So in the beginning we want to increase the heli's velocity diving without loosening headspeed, and by the end of the dive we want to transfer all the velocity (wind) of the dive into the main rotor by changing the angle of attack and blades pitch.

Lmfao that’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. Awesome flying 😎
Dang! You fly beautifully! I better practice a LOT more!!!
Dude great video! I’ll try this when I fly with u next
Are you free we can go fly tomorrow if you like :)
This will help me to take that chance

I will make a second video with stick movements, hopefully soon.
Thank you :)

Step 1 - fully master inverted flight
Step 2 - get good at autos
Step 3 - return to this video.
👍👍👍

The pop you're referring to comes with practice. It's a quick & precise stick movement that you will adapt through experience.
Hello friend. Tell me are you using Governor ESC SCORPION or Governor V-Bar?
V-bar gov all day is the best.
@@flyblood2045 Please tell me, did you use the ESC Scorpion governor? Now there is a new firmware 61

You can choose one of them at a time. You must disable the one you're not using.
