    Why are there multiple 24 Port as well as 16 Port Switches? Wouldn't be 2 or 3 48 Port Switches be lots cheaper and better in terms of space and management?

    I don't get why you don't have the switches NEXT to the patch panels but put them far under, route the cables out along the side and make a huge mess... tiny short patch cables going withing 1U is so much easier, then you have the mess "behind the patch panel" and the front is super duper clean and you get like 10U more space since you don't need those silly cable routing U units...
