These dogs are properly trained for the owner but not for the public! I bet a random person or child could walk up to these dogs and pet them! I have a German Shepard and he knows friendly from danger! My dog has been properly socialized and has not shown one ounce of aggression in public! He loves people and children!

I have a 2 year old male American Rottweiler...i know exactly what u are going through.....ive had people call the law on me over my rott yanking his leash out of my hand...but someone hitting on my son....oh my!!! ...

Yeah, I have to be on top of my rot pit mix or she will come to people and bark. She isn't aggressive, but she looks and sounds aggressive until she meets someone, but never bites... she just barks. I am in the process of getting my puppy into training too... Knowing when we messed up is good bc now you can keep an eyes out for that and do better next time. They are so cute tho and they will get even better.... But toy driven is actually better than food motivated... my puppy has hit a wall bc food payment only goes so far... and when you have no food? Forget having her do anything she knows already... Stubborn rot all the way. They will do good! But as a rot/pit owner now I do see how intimidating they can be even when it is innocent... I got scared a few times when my puppy was just tiny, but I never let her know that... now shes so sweet and knows for the most part that she will be listening to me. Love this! Want to see more of these!

Literally makes zero sense for them to try punch a dog that’s not doing anything different just because the lead is dropped.
