Sorry to revive this thread but daaaamn...very impressive, I'm blown away. New to the rc world, I was trying to find the esc you used but can't, any other you could recommend? And equally as impressive is how straight you got the car to go...any secret there? Good stuff man 👍

I don't quite understand what you mean are we talking about the 3 wires going from Motor to ESC? Or ESC and servo to receiver? ESC is channel 2 and servo is channel 1
hey i asked you about the same problem u had on ur brushed 1603 and u sugested replacing the motor to fix it, i did that and it still has the saem problem any other way i can fix it
So the car still won't move? So first remove the motor and motor mount and leave them plugged in. Power the car up and squeeze the throttle? Does the motor move and does the car roll freely when you push it?
BTW, do you know if the brushed version has the same spur as the brushless one? I am going to switch motor/esc/servo in a new one so I would love to spend less instead of buying the brushless and throw away all the electronics...
Servo $23 is expensive...what does it do so special? I have this car and i know its stock servo was weak and my car could never go straight..are you able to go perfectly straight at 25 mph with gyro off? Handling is what matters most to me...thanks for sharing
@@roadstar499 than yes a higher kg servo with help keep it straight and turn faster if you get the right servo and on those trucks if you over tighten a wheel nut it will pull left or right
Have you ever checked out mjx hyper go all road 1/14 scale..i just picked one up..amazing...super stable.on 3s 1300 80c i know i was mid 40s..has serious speed potential imo..
Mod 0.5..?? 48dp seems like it'll work but it will eat your spur. I had to hunt for 0.5 when I got a new/old stock little Vaterra Kemora a couple of years ago, they're not the easiest size to find.

My one sg1603 runs 4s with a 6200kv motor and pulls 81mph. The chassis will take it.

Think a castle creation cm35 540 motor basically that is 9000kv would get they trucks past 100mph range
Its mod .7 gears and I've had good luck with 48p lining up close enough.

If we are talking about the 3 motor to ESC wires. any way will work and if it goes backwards just switch two of the wires around

To change the servo, Unfortunately you will has to swap all the electronics

So chassis to motor mount are the stock bolts and motor mount to motor is m3x10 with a tapered head
