Thank you for this video - QBO automatically coded it as a transfer based on the memo but it was actually a return from their PayPal account (not connected to QBO) so it was not an actual transfer of any sort. I categorized it correctly but was still showing as a transfer from an uncategorized asset. Deleting it from the register cleared up the BS issue and it is now in the correct GL account. Thank you!

Thanks for the great video! Any ideas on how to fix this same issue with reconciled deposits? Is it a similar process? I walked into a huge mess (little did I know!), accounting wise, which has required cleanup for the past year. My head hurts! Haha! Thanks again!

It's not in the video. There are a couple of methods. If you have an Accountant user on your account you can request that they undo your bank reconciliations. Solution is going to depend on how many you have and how far back the clean up needs to go.
