No. There is a challenge where you have to discover the location for Heroic Assault that is shown on the map. It is unlocked after doing that. You will need to be a certain level and able to dish out a lot of damage to do well in there though.

@@austinwyatt100 it's only the separate From main story Heroic Assault add on I'm assuming If this clears up your question. Heroic Assault is 4 player co op not the standalone story missions.
