Rolly doesn't have as elaborate footwork but he finds strong stances to flare off powerful shots in awkward places. He's pretty good at cutting off the ring and walking people down too.

In a cage your opponent is topless and is pretty sweaty so its almost impossible that your going to take a wrestler down with that.. also dont lets even start to think about what a BJJ black belt is going to do to you on the ground if your able to take him down and your only grappling knowledge is judo. MMA has come a long way and you really need to be a well rounded fighter to be in the ufc because EVERYBODY is good at EVERYTHING

Some people like protection on the cheekbone/nose area, some like the open face for more vision. What's interesting is both pairs work for the styles of each wearer. Ryan is about slick timing and precision, so the open face gear gives maximum vision and lightness. Likewise, Rolly likes to rush in and smother, so he needs more protection, the loss of vision means less if you're pressed against your opponent.

I think Ryan has improved a lot since, saw rolllys last fight and it seems like he still has this same style, a little dirty but it is what it is they can’t all be pretty. Regardless though I agree with a lot of people he has a great future being a sparring partner.
That front hand is Ryan’s favorite weapon. Don’t think he can fight on the inside. If you allow him to find rhythm and move forward you’ll probably get hit with something you never saw coming.

In a real fight Ryan could catch him early and earn his respect then who knows how the fight plays out, can Rolly adapt or will Ryan control the fight from the outside? Alternatively, Ryan also has the power to put Rolly to sleep so that could also happen we just don't know

Judo is a gi based martial art and there is like a handful of techniques that work without the gi and pretty much every mma fighter knows and use.. mostly judo in mma is used by good wrestler when they get you against the cage and start triping you all over with feet throws to get you down. In a cage your opponent is topless and is pretty sweaty so its almost impossible that your going to take a wrestler down with that.. also dont lets even start to think about what a BJJ black belt is going to do to you on the ground if your able to take him down and your only grappling knowledge is judo. MMA has come a long way and you really need to be a well rounded fighter to be in the ufc because EVERYBODY is good at EVERYTHING

Ryan is about slick timing and precision, so the open face gear gives maximum vision and lightness. Likewise, Rolly likes to rush in and smother, so he needs more protection, the loss of vision means less if you're pressed against your opponent.

I don't think the spar tells us much about how a real fight would go though with Rolly wearing the full protective headgear and Ryan not, Rolly was getting caught coming in but not really feeling it so he could continue to ultra-aggressive. In a real fight Ryan could catch him early and earn his respect then who knows how the fight plays out, can Rolly adapt or will Ryan control the fight from the outside? Alternatively, Ryan also has the power to put Rolly to sleep so that could also happen we just don't know

The story of this issue is.. its only a simple friendly sparring, Ryan Garcia didn't punched hard because he know that this is part of training. On the other hand, Rolly Romero wants to get attention and wants to show that he is beast and tried to hit hard as much as he could in this sparring that causes Ryan Garcia's nose to bleed, If Ryan Garcia only knows that Rolly will hit him hard he will also treated this sparring as a real fight. In conclusion, Rolly Romero has attitude problem, this guy always involve in a lack-of-discipline sparring that always lead into brawl. A visitor sparrings partner pay respect to them but Rolly is always unprofessional and lack of discipline. He will not succeed if his personality is like this.
