Revisiting this, many of these damage and death cries sound downright agonizing. Like hearing Bruce's first damage cry as a kid, I thought it had a special effect like reverb on it. Listening to it now, the guy sounds like he's deflating (ouch)! The VAs did a great job.
I often wonder why in Tekken and Tekken 2 Nina and Anna were given such harsh sand paper like voices especially when they were two young ladies in their 20s? not sure if their voices suited them they sounded much older and less attractive than they looked. Although in Tekken 2 Anna has two voices, the Nina voice and when she squeals and laughs she has a different voice.
Yeah, I agree with that..Nina and Anna were kind of the sex symbols of the first three games but for the first two games...their voice was..weird...but same for Michelle, her voice sounds like a man trying to fake female voices a bit
I miss the classic Lee voice. He may have sounded young (like child young), but just lower the pitch like they did in TTT1! It sounds more Excellent than the squeals he does for most of his moves now!
