My heart is broken again when I heard David Ogden Stiers has suddenly passed away. I very shocked and cried a lot!😢😢😭😭💔💔💔💔 Why did that happen?! I love him since my childhood in 90’s and 2000’s. He was Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast, Dr. Jumba Jookiba from Lilo & Stitch, Governor Ratcliffe and Wiggins from Pocahontas, Archdeacon from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Solovar from Justice League. I lost everything I love in my childhood why no one treat his bladder cancer?! I hate 2018! Fuck 2018!. I'm broken and wounded I lost all people and voice actors I love them. the world is no longer the same without him and without them how to bring them back to life or go back in time to save them It's really a tragedy😢😢😢😢 I will not accept his death.

Stiers was doing a "call-in" radio interview on KGO in San Francisco to promote a Contra Costa Symphony performance where he was the guest conductor. I was driving to a gig, and called the show, and apparently I described music as the most wonderful experience that mankind can have...since both the animal kingdom and God envy humans' ability to make music. David got so excited that he invited me to the concert as his guest, and we met back stage amid many celebrities, but he took the time to talk to me. Very gracious, warm, sincere
and funny. When I asked him how he had the time to learn music and conducting, he whispered to me ..."I can't read music, I don't know a damn thing about conducting...I just try to memorize the recording ahead of time, then wave the stick and turn the pages of the score and fake it" !!
David did fake it well, because he conducted many orchestras in the 1990's and later, and his name drew crowds to the performances. He loved music, but his gift to music was his ability to draw audiences to the performances which helped every symphony orchestra he conducted.
His voice over and narration work was quite superb, and he never took himself too seriously, even though he could act that part well in a funny way. His cartoon and character work in animation films was equally fun and exciting. He was a very talented man, a character of many personalities with a generous and giving heart. He will be missed by everyone who has been touched by his performances and by his generosity.

RIP Major Charles Emerson Winchester the Third! He was such a great actor, amazing on M*A*S*H and amazing in all the voice roles he did. Didn't even recognize the voice in some of these clips, I sometimes would say that with the voice acting he could be perfect in so many accents, but there would be something about the voice that I could pick out and say "Oh, he plays Jumba or Cogsworth, Ratcliffe...etc." But now if I watched some of these movies again and didn't see this movie, I'd be in shock seeing in the credits that it was him, but now that I've seen this video I know now...amazing how well he can sound so different.
