Woah, smart people are cool. The world needs more people involved in the sciences to forward society. We can live in harmony but some people have very poor souls.
I used to think that way. But science and "innovation" have done a lot of harm to society. We're reliant on it. We opt out of real life for it. Not to mention the rampant corruption with bad science and data.
well I guess to elaborate I like science. And I do LOVE to learn. but for example in public schools I hate how STEM is seen as so much more important than art, music, history and reading comprehension… I also dislike how there’s such a push to put everything on the phone- jobs, school, social media etc. Many “nerds” who are specifically white men are often so big headed and cruel that it’s hard to get along with them no matter how smart they think they are. that’s my point articulated more clearly
@@claracedar the school system needs a revamp the world over. Math and reading comprehension has fallen dramatically in the US but I see no one doing anything about it. Socials are pushing degenerative people and it’s very sad to see.
