Yes! I remember reading Andrea's story, it really stuck with me for a long time. There's been soo many signs. My parents have been pressuring me into having children (and Im still young lol) and it's reallyy crazy the things they say. I'm trying to communicate to them that both me and my husband just don't want to do that, and they basically have been saying "well, you will like it ONCE you give birth". Im sorry is a kid a fucking experiment??? It's hilarious people like that say childfree are selfish while at the same time advocating for, like, giving birth cuz u know, "u WILL like it once you do it, even if u dont feel like you want any of that right now" I also know some religious people, who like Andrea's family, always talk about how important it is to have a ton of kids and you're selfish if you only have one/a couple. And then you watch them have a ton of kids who they pay 0 attention to, don't know any of their interests or anything beyond their names, rarely talk to them. Why the fuck do you need kids then? [am not saying all religious people are like that]

I would consider myself a Taylor Swift fan, but not a crazy Swiftie. In the sense that I enjoy a lot of her music (not all), but I respect others who don't; and I certainly don't think she is this perfect person (everyone has faults, and there are definitely certain toxic behaviours I've observed). No one's value is based on their beauty. This idea that a woman has to be beautiful to be appreciated is so wrong and is frankly misogynistic. I actually don't really like her ultra-pop songs that are popular on the radio. Her slower, acoustic songs, as well as her folk albums, are absolute masterpieces though. That's not to say that you should go listen to them if you aren't interested, but rather that you might not be making a full judgement by only listening to those few songs. She has an expanse of different sounds. Some I enjoy, some I don't. And that's okay I hope this didn't come off as nit-picking, but I was frustrated with a lot of what you are saying, and breaking it down like this seemed to be the most constructive way to do it. None of this is personal, I just want to challenge the idea that bashing other people is ok; because that's what you were doing in this video. If you had actually made any real arguments, then that valid. But unnecessary unkindness isn't the kind of thing we should be promoting on the Internet. You have to remember that Taylor Swift is an actual person. And you sitting there saying those things is about another person, not just a distant ideal.
