  • I went to Tasmania for 3 days and even on a budget, there is still a lot you can do and experience.
I stayed in Hobart and the first thing you need to do is go to the top of Mount Wellington - the view is absolutely stunning.
Being from Denmark, I had to track down and see where our Queen Mary grew up, and I combined it with a self-guided walking tour around Hobart.
I also visited Mt. Field where there are several hikes in a forest with plenty of waterfalls. I also went to the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to get a glimpse of the Tasmanian Devil.
    About me 👨
My name is Alex, and in December of 2023, I quit my job, sold my apartment and all my belongings to pursuit a lifelong dream of traveling full time.
The idea of traveling solo, as a middle-aged man, is both exciting and daunting, so I decided to bring my camera, and document my experiences. Not only to share my journey but also in the hopes of showing how amazing and wonderful traveling and the world truly is. 🌍
My goal is to visit the traditional sights as well as the lesser-known places - on a budget - and do some volunteer work with animals whenever possible.
