  • A long overdue update of my "Leftovers board".
    First put together with just the Drivetrain, RAT, Crybaby, & G4, it's now been expanded with delay, boost and some decent power.

    Hello! I'm planning to get this since I'm experiencing noise from my pedals.
    Do you think this would be quiet with a Kokko Tuner, Kokko Compressor, Caline Pure Sky, Muslady Golden Horse, and a Mooer GE100?
    Thank you very much! Left a like and subscribed too!

      I reckon it should work out. It significantly reduced the noise I was getting between the RAT and Korg G4. It isn't perfect now, bit when I ranb them from a daisy chain or sounded like a sound effect from a cheesy '50's Sci Fi movie 😀

    Hi, I'm wondering, if it is possible to plug my 9v tuner to its 12v DC OUT? Since my tuner is often use also I reach the maximum DC OUT for 9v because I have a total of 9 mini pedals since mosky have maximum of 8 9v DC OUTPUT.

    • @omikl
      @omikl  Před měsícem

      It is possible that you would damage the tuner pedal unless it is specifically designed to take a 12V supply.
      I always use a daisy chaining I run out of power supply outputs.
      Doubling up Analog pedals such as overdrive, distortion or Fuzz is usually not a problem as they tend to have low power draw and there's no clock signal that can possibly sneak out via the power cable and cause noise, which is the case with digital pedals.

    I hope you can answer my question does that power supply also work with boss pedals?

    • @omikl
      @omikl  Před 4 lety +1

      Yes. It works fine with Boss pedals. I use one on another board that includes a TU-2.
      It also has 12V and 18V outputs if needed.

      @@omikl and it's that a true isolated? My pedals are boss boss super chorus,eq-7,boss ds-1,joyo actone,joyo vintage overdrive,boss cs-3. Did I do a right arrangement?

    • @omikl
      @omikl  Před 4 lety +1

      I don’t believe that it is true isolated. Possibly just diode isolated. It is a great improvement on a daisy chain though.
      I see you are someone like me: There ‘s no such thing as too many drive pedals 😎

    will it eliminate hum... I have a flatted B note hum coming out of my board and its annoying as hell... I use a basic daisy chain and Im wanting to get one of these to get rid of the hum and was told to make sure its isolated

    • @omikl
      @omikl  Před 3 lety

      It eliminated so very nasty digital clock interference from this particular board, but I suspect that the outputs are only "Diode isolated", so it is not going to fix everything.
      In particular the RAT, with it's +ve earth, was really interacting badly with the Korg G4 and producing a "Sci Fi spaceship landing" noise, which it eliminated.

    Hi sir love your board, i was planning to buy that mosky power supply dc core 10 but i didn't know where can i plug in my nux mg100, because the nux mg100 has a 9v 300ma. Can you help me. Thanks!

    • @omikl
      @omikl  Před rokem

      Output 8 is rated at 9V 500mA and should be abke to power your mg100 if it requires 300 mA.

    Hello Steve, I tried with my ZOOM G3 and Vox Delaylab. It does not power up them. How you connect the G4?

    • @omikl
      @omikl  Před 3 lety

      I just have it connected to one of the standard outputs.
      Maybe it has a lower current draw than the multi effects. I previously had this board running off a daisy chain.

  • @andreasmariosetiawan
    @andreasmariosetiawan Před 4 lety +1

    How many mA?

    • @omikl
      @omikl  Před 4 lety +1

      Here you go:
      Outputs 1-7 : 9V 100mA
      Output 8 :9V 500mA
      Output 9 :12V 100mA
      Output 10 :18V 100mA
      The dedicated power supply running the thing is 18V 1000 mA, so obviously you couldn't run all the outputs at full current draw simultaneously.

    Will it work with mooer ge100?

    • @omikl
      @omikl  Před 3 lety

      I just tried and indeed it does.
      I have a GE-100 that I picked up extremely cheaply and just tried it.
      The power supply also has 18V and 12V outputs which I don’t make use of.

    Is it Isolated ?

    • @omikl
      @omikl  Před 2 lety

      Not fully isolated. I suspect it has diodes to partly isolate the outputs. It mitigated some of the noise from this board but not all of it.
