Since I moved to using full Gyro from semi Gyro, my damage output on my light bow guns has been higher. This is because I can now more easily aim for the wings of Rathian, Rathalos and Pukei-Pukei.
Right. It can really make a big difference. I was able to slay a 7* Legiana with my Rathalos LBG 6/2 because of gyro. Targetting it's wings deals a lot of damage compared to semi gyro.
I don’t use lock on but wasn’t there a lockup update a whilst back. Did that not help at all? & yes the zoom whilst in gyro is annoying for melee users. If ur doing gyro it’s best for long rage weapons
Why can't they just make mobile versions of real Monster Hunter game, instead of a Pokemon Go rip off? Like, just make simplified shortcuts buttons for Switch skills etc, so you can input the controls with our thumbs.. I bet that would be much better and new player could experience what is actually Monster Hunter..
There was mh freedom unite hd for years and it was amazing, it was the same adaption but even better since it was hd and you could use controller too. They just took it away from applestore just because...?

Yep its either full gyro or nothing at all haha! The semi gyro too stiff

Landscape to counter zoom from gyro; only solution atm or bigger screen phones/ tablets, like a samsung fold.

Personally didnt notice the change to lock-on. In my mind, i probably just got used to where to target haha

If it's smaller monsters usually I use semi on my lbg and full gyro on larger monsters

Lock on/off doesn't matter, parts are flying around.
Lock On for all non-Kulu monsters. The rock really is its best defense.
Agreed. While holding the rock, I usually go beside or behind Kulu while locked on to the forelegs.
you can bait it to throw or destroy the rock
Gyro is good if only we can zoom out camera, I can't even see the monster.
Ikr the gyro is also very sensitive bc of the zoom haha
Im getting 3-4 breaks without lock on . Got some videos to boot too. Its hard to do say if you're walking a dog. But otherwise its beast
